A lovely little pupuseria. I finally had the chance to stop in for their tamales salvadorenos. Steamed in banana leaves, these are soft and contain both chicken and steamed potatoes. The texture will remind a gringo like me of a chicken pot pie. (The filling, to judge by tge staff pointing it out to me, has been an issue with customers expecting the beef tamales Mexicano served by other places. El Salvador tamales normally use chicken.) Served to the table with bottles of salsa Roja and salsa verde, both delicious. Free tortilla chips and salsa picante are provided, of course.A small but important side note: If you're as white as I am, you'll want to rely on the printed menu. Not all of the staff speak good English as yet, though they try.

I had pupusas and gorditas. The pupusas were so thin and didn't have flavor or hardly any meat in them. The gordita was really good. Bistek gordita, pupusas de chicharon and pollo.

I ordered only 2 pupusas from here and The flavor on the revuelta pupusa was awesome/great, the flavor on the cheese pupusa was nonexistent, they BOTH were too thin aka not enough to be filling . So i was left hungry.. for more revuelta!

I been having problems with this restaurant since I started going. This was my third and final time going. I believe they are MONEY HUNGRY . Everytime I go the prices are different but mind you I am ordering the same meal each time. How do the meal price change everytime? I know we are under inflation but come on now. You say you will charge me for one thing and when we get to the register its a different and higher price than we negotiated. The cheese pupusa did not come out cooked fully. Upon investigation, it was very doughy and rubbery. The pork meat caused for my stomach to feel like it was tight to the point it was hurting. Lastly, watch the cashier. She swears you trying to get free or complementary meals but she is the one who rings and overcharge you. Like i stated before.. If I am coming for the same meal everytime. Why is it different and higher every visit. Just a suggestion: Might wanna go over menu prices with her. She likes to argue when in doubt she's the one wrong.But kuddos to the chef for stepping in and assisting where is needed. He's the only one who knows prices and willingly to explain them to you.

Initially food seemed good until we where served Beans. They served us spoiled beans ! They disguised the smell and taste by using cheese My daughter pointed out the smell and taste which was obvious on Hers because she requested hers with no extras. after my husband and I had already consumed a good portion of them , as I said the smell was disguised .. it’s 4AM and we my husband and I have developed food poisoning. Be aware people. Food is tasty but beware of those rotten beans they serve.

Let me tell you, I ordered 3 pupusas, they were cheap ill give them that. 3 for $5. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for. Here I definitely did. The food had no flavor. The curtido was good but its like they dont season the masa or the meat or something. Ill go back because its cheap and had good customer service if im in a pinch on money though.

The interior of this place is dark, dreary and uninviting. I was waiting for Buffalo Bill to come out and tell me to put the lotion on. He never did, so I put the lotion away and ordered food instead. I honestly wasn't sure if I was in the right place or not when I walked in, or whether to order plywood or food. Then I saw the menu on the wall, written in what appeared to be Crayola on cardboard. Could have been colored Sharpie, but hard to tell. Then a lady came out take my order. She kindly informed me of their daily special (which was three pupusas for $5) and I ordered them. The pupusas weren't the best I've ever had, but they weren't terrible either. I'd say they're actually really decent for the price. If I'd payed more, then I would have been disappointed. It's not that they tasted bad, they were just light on the fillings, which again, is understandable considering the price. Now the red salsa on the other hand, was absolutely delish. That was definitely the highlight of my pupusas adventure, the salsa. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the menu was written in Crayola. Yeah. Definitely Crayola.
This was my first time visiting this place and I order the chicken breast and a pupusa, the chicken was seasoned pretty well and the pupusa was just alright, I will definitely go back to try other dishes though, lady greeting the customer was very attentive.

Went here for the first time and ordered to-go. I get home and bit into my cheese pupusa and felt something weird. Turns out it’s a strip of metal that was in my pupusa. I’m pregnant and this could have led to severe damages.
