The delectable flavors on offer at Smokey John's Bar-B-Que & Home Cooking simply cannot be described adequately through mere words. The only way to truly understand the deliciousness is to experience it for yourself. The catfish is so fresh and flavorful, it will leave you craving more. The sausage links are not just tasty, they are downright addictive. Every bite of the Salisbury steak transports you back to the warmth and love of a homemade meal prepared by grandma. The smoked chicken is so juicy and tender, it practically falls off the bone with every bite. And let's not forget about the undefeated champion of comfort food - the Mac and cheese. But the culinary delights are not the only thing that makes Smokey John's stand out. The customer service is reminiscent of the hospitality and warmth of New Orleans. It's rare to find a restaurant that not only excels in food quality but also provides a welcoming and homey atmosphere. In a city where restaurants come and go, Smokey John's is a gem that seems destined to stand the test of time. For those seeking a true taste of Southern hospitality and unforgettable flavors, this establishment is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't regret it.

OMG, OMG!!! This place is by far The Best place I have ever ate! The catfish, the ribs that Don't require BBQ sauce, macaroni and cheese, the cornbread (No, it's not Jiffy)!! Everything is made from scratch, and you can tell once you bite into it. If you're in Dallas, TX, this place is well worth the dining experience if you want delicious food and friendly courteous service. Service with a smile! We enjoyed our visit at Smokey John's!! ?My own stars!???????????

Definitely will recommend this restaurant, but the only thing that was bad it was the brisket, it was to dry and hard! Other than that everything was good ?
One of my friends and I were visiting from California, and we had a taste for some barbecue. So we googled places, and this one popped up. We saw the reviews, and they were great, so we decided to give it a try. We were overly pleased with everything. The service was awesome, the food was tasty, and the ambiance was great. If I could give them 10 stars, I definitely would. If you haven't been here, you need to check it out. ?

My thing with this company is how they treat their employees after you leave. They don't want to pay you for your last days there. Been calling leaving messages for my W2 no one ever replied and calling one of the owners of the company one of the brothers. I finally did some research and found them on my own the disrespect they have for their ex employees. Sample manager told me if I didn't get the CASH TIPS they sent by mail that would be my lost. Great food but as far as ever working there or coming back one and eat there NEVER

Pretty diverse menu. BBQ in Texas is either good or not so good or maybe just bland or ok. Ordered the bbq brisket baked potatoes, veggies and some ribs to try. Have had SJ's long ago and after getting off a flight it was right on time.
