We came on the earlier side, no ressies taken at this location. We were seated immediately and was acknowledged soon after by our waitresss. For our starters we ordered the deviled eggs… it was very good!!!Sadly, our dinner came just about five minutes into the starters, which made us rush to finish. The waitress was not apologetic whatsoever and just dropped off the plates of dinner and side of green beans. Any other time I would of kindly asked for them to hold it or remake it fresh when we were ready but I’ve worked at a fine dining restaurant (unlike this place, still solid) and that’s a cardinal sin to request your dinner to be held. So I knew better and we just accepted all what came to the table.Lucky for us we were pretty hungry so it was fine, that time. The food was delicious. The gravy thick and flavorful. The lemon glazed biscuit was great!Overall, considering food and service… 4⭐️’sThe server should have been more aware of the timing. Frankly, we were her first of three tables so it wasn’t like she was drowning.Well, it was good food at the end of the day.

This place has the best chicken I've ever had. The Mac and cheese is amazing. You must try this restaurant located in Oak Lawn. Very LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Let me start off by saying my typicalexperience here is FANTASTIC and I LOOOOOOOVE my two favorite servers here omgeeeee!!! However; today I had to hit the 3 star! I went out of my way on a late lunch for food and asked for the meatloaf with jalapeño gravy instead of the red sauce (personally don’t prefer sweet on my meatloaf or any beef or chicken for that matter)and additionally asked for extra gravy for my biscuit. The server told me she’d put the gravy on the side so my biscuit wouldn’t get soggy (she was so bomb). I didn’t check my order before I left because I neverrrrr have an issue. When I got home there was zero sauce NOR gravy on my meatloaf lol and absolutely zero gravy on the side for my biscuit (can you say le’dry!!!). I was extra hot because I was extra hungry ?! You all know how it feels to not have eaten all day and you go for your fav meal?? Yeah this was the vibeI called to let them know and the guy that answered the phone said”the jalepeno gravy was in the mashed potatoes” ? typically my mashed potatoes ALWAYS has gravy so I don’t know what he was talking. Then he said “ it was made according to what was on the ticket”? as though it were my fault ? I do NOT blame the server at all not even a little bit and I truly think this was a matter of the call being mishandled BIG TIME!!!Dry meatloaf and a dry biscuit and honestly not much gravy on my mashed potatoes and a waste of my drive ??I’ll definitely be back because like I said this is NOT the standard service I receive and I typically NEVER have an issue. However,; there was NO WAY I wasn’t leaving a comment because maybe it will help someone else’s experience.Check your box before you leave or leave with a dry meatloaf and biscuit. ?Signed off hungry and mega irritated!

Fried chicken is prob my favorite food, so when I found the glowing recommendation for Street’s, I knew I had to try it. It is the absolute bomb! The Brie Mac and cheese and the garlic green beans were icing on the cake. Great service and atmosphere. So good I came back two nights later for the pork chop. That, too, did not disappoint! Run, don’t walk to Street’s and treat yourself right!

Sin Killer chicken thigh sandwich was a killer sandwich also not too spicy. Deviled eggs aka Little Devils were excellent and not too spicy. Fried chicken is a must. Brussel sprouts were very flavorful (a little too saucy but that's an easy fix). Biscuits were incredible and moist. The Mac n cheese was great; my husband isn't a big fan of brie so tired of eating it halfway through, but the texture was perfect. Service was good and everyone was friendly.

I frequent the Forest location, but today I ventured into the one on Cedar Springs. I always get the same thing - the hot thigh fried chicken sandwich. The french fries here are thicker and not as good as the Forest location, but acceptable. My "beef" was with the main course. The fried chicken patty was extremely thin - like several slices of deli meat, to the point that the batter dwarfed the meat. Needless to say it wasn't flavorful or juicy. They slapped the coleslaw in one spot and mashed the bun on. It just wasn't good. The kitchen staff at the Forest location is so much better. My companion had the exact same meal and the exact same problem, so it's not like it's an accident... They should have never breaded that anemic looking piece of chicken. I cannot believe I drove thirty minutes to go here today for this... Shameful.

This location is alway not prepared for their customers. I visited and a group of 9 people came in for lunch. They never greet with a smile. When you wait for your order there is always a wait. While waiting for my food one of the staff started picking out his hair

The food was great, the price was great, the service was outstanding. But damnit, just like every other restaurant these days it’s so loud that you can’t carry a conversation without yelling. Less than half full and average noise was still over 80 db. Invest in some cheap foam, acoustic panels, something. This minimalist, bare wall, echo chamber aesthetic is sucking the joy out of eating out.

This place is amazing!! I love the fried chicken but the star of the dinner was the chicken pot pie it was so crispy on top and the soup part was super yummy and felt so homemade. The bread is honey buttered and it was so delicious!! 10/10 will be back it was all reasonably priced, the service was great and the food is the best ❤️
