I've eaten here years ago and totally different. Very insulted with the dessert menu that's had grease spots and just nasty. I ate here two nights ago and same situation with the menu but I gave him a 20% tip so tonight it would be no tip. Maybe he'll get the message. But then. Again, he probably doesn't remember he waited on me. They do have nice laminated dessert, menus that I was not offered. I gave him a good tip for the poor service. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want great service and the Seabass special was average.

-1 for no house made dessert. The Sofia Loren salad and chicken parmigiana was delectable. Yum! The chicken practically melted in my mouth, the portion sizes were equitable and the distribution of sauce had to be science because I did not have too much nor too little of it. The Sofia Loren was an offering of exquisitely balanced ingredients and has now become my favorite salad. The service was like clockwork - my water glass was never empty; arrival of dishes and drinks was timely (confirming confidence that all of my plates were freshly prepared in the back). The place smelled like a quiet evening, and, for all of the relaxing decor, I honestly could not spot a sprinkle of dust.

I went for the first time last week. The restaurant was beautiful. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food tasted phenomenal. The only problem I had is that it seemed that windex might have been sprayed in my food by mistake. I could taste hints every few bites. I actually ate it anyways because I assumed that there was no chance that windex could be in my food. I paid $50+ for the meal and left without making a fuss. It wasn’t until I got home that it was explained to me that I had tasted ammonia, not windex, which is a harmless but common occurrence as fish starts to age. I called and spoke with some man, representing himself as the owner with the intention of telling him so that he wouldn’t serve it to other patrons. I didn’t want a refund or any compensation. Not only did he disagree and argue with me, he did not apologize and eventually just hung up the phone. Saying that “he just got the fish yesterday.” It was Chilean Sea Bass. Satisfaction is not guaranteed there.I would certainly have gone back because the food was very well seasoned and cooked, but his response to my feedback will prevent me from spending any more money there. Potato creme soup was the best I’ve ever had by the way.

Service was good and the place was a little old but cosy. The food was ok but not the best for the price in my opinion. The raviolis were quite expensive for a small quantity of them but it was good.

Sweet Basil is a special place for our family for the last 32 years. We celebrated my Daughter's high school graduation there, and her son's high school graduation there. It just feels like home...

What a great restaurant! Food was delicious, the chicken was juicy and well made and the mushroom soup was a great appetizer. The service was fantastic, the waitress was pleasant and attentive and the manager was kind. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with calming music and the pricing was good. I will be coming back here, thank you!

Proud owner, my wife cried because of his behavior. She was already going through postpartum symptoms and his behavior through her off.

Ambiance was old school Italian inspired and the service was really attentive and possibly at times a little too much. I had the Veal Piccata which was delicious and a very nice salad with their homemade creamy Italian while the wife enjoyed the angel hair bolognese and salad, bread was great too.

Fantastic Italian food that is locally owned! The service is amazing, the atmosphere authentic, the pricing more than reasonable, and the food truly spectacular. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food. P.S. Get the lobster bisque, and dip the fresh bread in. It's unbelievably delicious!
