Got off the plane from California, came directly to the downtown Dallas location, walked in, got in line and didn't know what to start ordering until....Craig immediately came to our rescue, helped us out and had Alejandro and Vicente hook us up with the best pieces of BBQ I've ever had!!! I don't even have words for the brisket which was never a favorite cut of meat, until now...so moist, so flavorful, no sauce needed whatsoever!! Craig gave my husband a tour of the pits and made his day! The food was amazing, the staff was outstanding and I'll come back for the experience every chance I get.

I live in London and whilst we have a few great bbq places - this was head and shoulders above - I'm finding myself still dreaming about the brisket! I canvased a lot of opinion as to where we'd find the best brisket near downtown Dallas and Terry Blacks came out on top - I can see why.Service was friendly and helpful. Afterwards, the pitmaster saw me looking in at the smokers and he came out to chat to me and show me around! Absolutely fantastic!
Large BBQ location with great food and open dining atmosphere....almost like a picnic inside and more like a picnic outside. I enjoyed the brisket and Jalapeño cheese sausage. Sides were great too!

INSANELY good Texas barbecue! Visiting from South Carolina and this place was recommended by everyone we talked to. We can see why! Got the tip to go a little earlier in the day and it was amazing. Enjoyed every side (mac, cream corn and potato salad) and the brisket and turkey were both incredible! Staff was helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

We were visiting from Ohio, and a friend of ours in Fort Worth made sure to bring us. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible. Everybody was very polite as well; the ordering process was definitely different for someone who has never been there before, but I didn’t feel particularly overwhelmed. We will certainly be coming back the next time we visit! And thank you to Rodolfo for taking my tray when we were finished!

First time here 5-5-24Liked the vibe of the place walking in, not hot inside, or too crowded. Walking through the line went fast, especially with so many cashiers availableI'm not a fan of BBQ for personal reasons, but am willing to try new BBQ restaurants out. I'm more of a baked potato, turkey, chicken, corn bread, and Mac n cheese person ? ?. Not a fan of brisket or too much pork.Anyways, I had the turkey sandwich and my oh my, the meat was really really juicy.Coleslaw was good, not overwhelming with mayo or any flavors.Mac n cheese was awesome, cheesy and creamy.Corn bread- oh my that was good, fell apart when handled.Chopped beef- (wife's sammich) was good, along with her side of cream corn.Dessert was banna pudding, great taste and good portion in those cups.Sandwiches had a good portion of meat on them, enough to be filling.Will definitely come back and try something else.
