So I attended a birthday celebration at The Garden. It was Ladies Night. It was advertised there was a happy hour drink specials, $20 buffet and free champagne for ladies all night. When we arrived around 7p, there were cones along the parking spots on the street. So all the free, self parking was blocked by valet. When asked where the self parking was, we were told to go over a few blocks BUT told it wasn’t safe. So, of course, we paid the $20 to valet. (Actually we were guided to park our own car, told to keep the keys and just paid the fee.) I don’t have problem with the cost of valet…I just don’t like that there wasn’t a safe option for those who don’t want to valet. When we walked up to the venue, there were two metal detectors we had to pass through. (I was thinking, this is probably somewhere I don’t need to be ) After that, you were militantly told to turn around, they frisked us (women). Then we handed over our purses which were basically dumped out and searched. I had a pair of cute bling sandals in my bag in case I needed to change. I was told I could not take them in; I had to wear heels. I had to leave them with security. ? I watch other females walk in with sandals, mules, of all things SNEAKERS. I didn’t like that. The food was good. There was no happy hour drink specials. My drinks were $17.24 each. They have an automatic gratuity charge, which I think is in very poor taste. Allow people to tip as they feel appropriate. As for the champagne, you were given a ticket at the door. You could not redeem the ticket for a glass of champagne until 10p. (I forgot to mention..at the door you pay $20 cash or they charge you their service fees to use your credit card.)At 10p, they begin a “reverse” happy hour. I wish I would have taken a picture of the menu. There were maybe three options of shots for $5 and a couple of options for food…that was it. I ordered two shots for the birthday girl. They charged me $18. When I brought this to the bartender’s attention, she got an attitude with me and told me it was gratuity. I broke down to her that $10 worth of drinks, plus tax and gratuity is not equivalent to the amount charged. She asked what other drink I wanted. I didn’t want another drink nor anything else from this establishment…I just wanted my change. She pecked on the register with an attitude and threw a portion of my change on the bar. I didn’t even worry about the rest. I was just over it!!The place is basically empty. Look at the images/videos on social media in detail. Most of them…it’s basically empty. At other places, ladies night typically means…”special treatment” for the ladies. At this spot, it was 95% ladies.I won’t be back. This venue itself is cool and the food is good but all the drama and rules turned me and my group off.

This is the absolute most unorganized place in Dallas. Would not recommend anyone visit this establishment. Doors opened after 10pm. After purchasing a table/section, security refused to let us enter and forced us to stand in a general admission line for 50 minutes, then telling us that no more men could enter the establishment. I hope this establishment goes out of business.

The buffet was very tasty! Options were fried and baked fish, fried wings, yams, mac and cheese, collard greens, and cabbage. I enjoyed every bite and the atmosphere was electric. All I needed was some cornbread. The deejay was a natural who played some great selections!

I really want to go here for my birthday but at this point I probably won’t. I reached out to them last Friday about info on a table/section for next Wednesday and I still haven’t heard anything back. I reached out through dm… nothing. I texted again today… still nothing.

The sections are expensive for a place that doesn't sell out. The DJ was good. Food was hot, but the wings weren't fully cooked. We literally paid for food we couldn't eat. That we recieved in to-do containers right before close. Our bottle girl started off great, but by the night's end, had the worst attitude.

My night experience was great here! Great music and cocktails. Also, safety is a priority, and this place exceeded my expectations. It's such a vibe to have a great time and feel secure of no harm.Wings were a bit salty. However, they looked delicious, just overly seasoned.

The food was cold, even though y’all had the hot burners underneath the pan so I don’t know why. The $65 mimosa tasted like strawberry fanta soda. this is so not okay . y’all are gonna have to invest in better champagne. The eggs were powdered eggs, and that was disgusting we’re very shocked by that and the cold food.Giving plastic white silverware and clear plastic plates is very low quality for the place that you’re trying to present as classy.my suggestion would be if you wanna commit to plastic then at least give it some class and pizzazz - you can do gold plastic plates and gold quality plastic silverwareWhen we walk in the place, your establishment presents itself as a place of class but yet you’re serving things on plastic. That really threw us for a Loop.also charging $33 for credit card and 30 for cash is very silly. We all know that there are credit cards fees but you go to keep the price the same for either method of payment . It’s more professional. Knowing that I’m paying more for card makes me not wanna pay y’all at all. Luckily, my friend had extra cash to cover me. But most days ppl (esp ladies) don’t have cash on hand people do tap to pay.also, you’ve got to have small plastic. saucers cups to squeeze the syrup and hot sauce, you got nothing for us to put the sauce on. Can you squeeze a sauce on the plate because you would have hot sauce running onto the waffles and syrup running onto the fish lolI think these are small tweaks that can be made to make your business successful. The servers are really that nice or amiable. They were normal but nothing special. I deafly will not be back. Scary sad because I do want to support black business. Also, the music was really loud. Your place probably attracts mostly 30-40 years olds so we do want our hearing. The positives was the environment and the music was good.

Wooow! Was planning a trip here Friday after seeing cute IG stories, but after reading the reviews this place sounds like a nightmare. Thanks to everyone who told their story. Your reviews and lack of Owner response-worked.

There was definitely a good vibe that I don't want to diminish. The DJ was a talented woman, and the guy on stage directed his fan towards our area, likely because one of our friends was getting a bit too lively.HOWEVER!!!!!I want to emphasize some crucial points. If you're considering a $500 birthday package that supposedly includes a bottle and champagne, think twice. The bottle and champagne are not included.Let me break down my bill experience. Initially, my bill was around $1,000 because they hadn't deducted the $300 deposit. Then they came back claiming they gave a $50 discount, reducing the bill to $775.64. However, the first bottle, which was supposed to be part of the $500 package, and the champagne were still on the bill. Additionally, we ordered another bottle at $311 each, along with 7 shots at $13.64 each, totaling $95.48. We also spent $10 on another drink. So, the total for the night should have been $416.48 plus the $300 deposit, making it $716.48. But it ended up being $775.64 plus the $300 deposit, totaling $1,139.64 for the night. They ask for a card and ID for the table, supposedly for security, but it seems they do it because they anticipate issues. It's advisable to arrive before 11 pm for good parking and a spot in the club. Paying for drinks separately can save you a lot in the long run.

If you live close by its okay but not for late night. If far away not worth the price - valet and ticket, Ave the drive. No worth it if you don't live in the area.

Really cute place for brunch. The b ruch buffet was amazing. Great location for girls' day out . There are a lot of photo ready spots. Great music. The location turns into a club feel after brunch. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Valet parking is available. The only downside is the cracks in the entryway. Becareful as trip hazards are not a concern for this establishment. Party at your own risk.

Based on videos online I thought it would be super packed because I arrived after 7pm. The buffet is 7p-9p but surprisingly it wasn't crowded.. got in within 2 min. I pre purchased my tix on eventbrite. Women get a free champagne tix. The atmosphere was great we were greeted very friendly. There is open seating before 10pm so we sat in a vip booth by the bar. The music was great..vibes with everyone. Crowd picks up closer to 10pm. The food was good and the area was clean .. the only con I would say is the reverse Happy Hr doesn't start until 10p if you drink. Other than that I will be back.

I went for the club portion, drinks are overpriced, hookah is hard to find if you don't have a table. No one told us that the white middle tables are free to sit at. The club night was a disaster.
