One of the worse Enchiladas I've tried in years! So grease with no flavor only ate the rice and beans!

We came to this place a many times with our friend. I particularly do not like this place now because a long time ago, I had the Mexican chicken soup, and it was horrible! The skin on the chicken was tough and let's just move it up to today--their salsa is not great, their queso cheese tastes fake-like it was canned, and it was runny--the food was pretty good but the service was absolutely terrible! Our server bought the food, but she just ignores us, and comes whenever she's ready--I asked for 2 tacos with my meal, and I didn't get it-which it took almost 30 minutes for her to get to our table, and then I told her about it!! We needed to-go boxes, our friend got one, and me and my sister shared one....our server never came to the table to give us tickets for us to pay for our dinner--our friend practically went to the cashier desk to pay. We need to-go cups, and another girl came with 1 cup--I said we needed another one-she came, acting like she didn't want to be bothered!! Well, why work there if you act like you two don't care about your customers?? We live in Denton, and so I have to say that Mi Tata's restaurant is way better than this place! At least you get better food, and better service!! Won't be coming back!And might I add, the food wasn't hot- Mi Tata's ALWAYS makes sure that their food is hot-so hot you have to be careful, because you might get burned...but that's the nice thing about that restaurant other than this one, because I can't understand why their food isn't really hot!

Because these waitresses are unable to understand English, I have to consider Tipico's to not be the best place to eat at! I'm so tired of going to a Mexican restaurant, constantly being DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY THEIR FOOD TASTES IT'S BLAND! These ladies need to do a little better than what they are carrying what is called "half and half"services!! Not the best-less success! I thought it would have been better than this? Let us stay in Denton and eat at Mi Tata's from now on, as well as El Matador because we are done!

Tipicos has become a weekly tradition for me over the last year. Abraham and the team there are extremely courteous and inviting. And they have in my opinion the best menudo in the city!!!!

My sever was not attentive. She checked in one time and I asked for replacement drink and she never returned. Food was good and was served quickly. Portions are small. Luckily, you have plenty of other quality, service-oriented options nearby.

Two weekends in a row the owner Brenda messed up our take out order. When she was confronted with this she offered a partial refund and stated she would be reserving the food to other customers. This food already left the building and she was willing to give this food to another person. Bad customer service. Unsanitary practices. Unfortunately this place has good food but the service sucks and ultimately are not willing to take care of the customer.

This style of Mexican food is different from what I am used to (they use yellow cheese and ground beef). But I allowed myself to be open to it, and it was delicious. All the tortillas are homemade (talk about YUMMY!!!). The refried beans and rice were among the best I have had.
