Chocolate whoopie pie, texture was good but tasted like Splenda with a weird aftertaste.Chocolate chip cookie sandwich was decent.Lemon cake pop, texture was good and the flavor of the icing was great but the inside was just okay.Overall not worth $15 for 3 mediocre desserts.

Was looking for somewhere to get a cake last minute under 48 hours. Understandably they were booked up for cakes but they offered to do cupcakes and arrange them in an adorable floral design. It ended up being perfect! I was so excited to see it when I picked it up and will DEFINITELY go back!!!! ?

Rude. Wouldn't answer my questions, gave vague or unresponsive answers. Then everything was just difficult here for no reason other than the staff's attitude. I asked about the jalapeños if they were pickled or not and she just responded either jalapeños are jalapeños. Do not go to this location. Not worth the time or money to deal with someone who wants to be rude. The store is unorganized and there isn't a way to pay outside of a QR code. I cancelled my order cuz I wanted to ask about other things but they seemed annoyed and acted like they just wanted me out. I've noticed this a lot. I guess many places do not want black customers. This location being one of them.

A friend brought back an Unrefined Bakery King Cake from NOLA, disappointed doesn’t quite describe our reaction.I’ve had a lot of very good gluten free and vegan food. I live in Portland Oregon, we have a lot of great options. The Unrefined King Cake is just plain bad. The taste is horrible and the texture is weird. It is pretty dense. In your mouth it forms into a lumpy mess. All of it with an underlying taste of coconut. It does not work.My wife and I had 2 bites each, the rest went into the compost bin.I have no idea about the rest of Unrefined’s products, but you should definitely avoid the King Cake.

The slim brunette worker is very friendly but she was touching her hair and also touched the cookies with her bare hands. Gloves should be a standard. It made my mom not want to purchase anything. Please work with all employees and train them for sanitary purposes. Thank you!

Don't order custom cupcakes from this location. Confusion on placing the order, never received an email receipt, and they could not locate the cupcakes by the name on the order when I came to pick it up.

First visit. Dark silk pie was wooonderful! Lemon cranberry muffins were DRY and lacked flavor. Keto cake was, also, dry and tasted like fake-coconut. VERY expensive.

We went to Unrefined Bakery thinking that it was the best place we could buy a quality, clean, refined sugar free, and kinda organic premade cake for our daughter’s 3rd birthday. The cake we chose had a lot of no’s checked (no gluten, no soy, etc…), but not an actual ingredient label. I now recognize our error, but at the time we gave Unrefined Bakery the benefit of the doubt that they were being truthful in their marketing and statements. Upon taking our first bites of the cake everyone in our family felt surprised by the taste. It was too good and familiar to not contain refined sugar. Sure enough, our suspicions were right. It wasn’t until after we had visited a second time for quick dessert, that we had the idea to stop back in for a celebratory treat. This time though, I asked my husband to call ahead and make absolutely sure that they did not use refined sugar, like they said on their social media accounts and on their website. They use honey and agave in their paleo options, but the keto, standard and vegan all have raw demerara cane sugar. It is well known that raw cane sugars, such as demerara, do in fact undergo a high degree of refining. It takes 1-meter of sugar cane to make 1tsp of crystallized sugar. Leaving a little molasses in may be a little better than sugar that is bright white, but it doesn’t make it unrefined.I first reached out to the company with my disgust in their deception in marketing, and the daughter owner responded by email. I was met with excuses and claims that ingredients are listed and available all over. That’s simply not true as proven by the photo I took of my daughter’s cake lid. They will identify things that are vegan, paleo, keto, or standard, but they don’t disclose the full ingredient list publicly. A person shouldn’t have to ask to know what’s in their food. If they truly put ingredient labels on their products as they claim, we wouldn’t be having a problem because we would never have spent a dime there.Too, Taylor disclosed how poorly trained their employees are, stating they don’t even know how to identify a refined sugar. That they’re not educated on the ingredients contained in their products, which is the very foundation their company is based upon - supposed ingredient quality and integrity.I abhor deceptive marketing practices and will not be shy about it. I did notice they changed their Facebook bio. I mean maybe they should receive a pat on the back for assuming some responsibility? We’ve since called around to every vegan baker and while they all use refined cane sugar, I appreciated they were honest about it!If they all use refined cane sugar anyway, there are far better bakeries to choose from, if you’re cool with that! Far as we go, looks like we will be baking at home from now on.

OMGoodness! My lunch from Unrefined Bakery was phenomenal! I rarely order my lunch for work; however, when I do it again it will be here.I placed the order online through a 3rd party. I ordered a pizza with sauce, cheese, olives, and onions [a side of parm cheese] & for dessert I had a Loaded Monkey. When it arrived, I saw immediately they wrote a note to me ?so sweet, right?! But then I noticed they taped my pizza box closed! This is awesome because it tells me if it was altered during delivery. Smart idea! The pizza was not only a perfect size for one person [and to share], but it was filling. The sauce was not overpowering or ‘tangy’. I could tell the veggies were fresh and it was cooked perfectly. For dessert I had this cupcake because I thought the name was funny, Loaded Monkey! OMG! It was amazing! It is banana chocolate chip cake, filled with chocolate peanut butter fudge, then has peanut butter buttercream icing!Save yourself time thinking about what to get for lunch, or dinner, and just go to Unrefined Bakery. You can thank me later.

My sister and I came in for vegan cupcakes (vanilla and chocolate, both were great) and couldn’t resist trying their veggie pizza with vegan mozzarella (melted so perfectly!!) — 10/10

?This was perfect, I got 2 cup cakes for my God parents. They loved them. Lemon and vanilla. It was for her birthday. She tore it up and tried to eat my God-fathers cake too? . ♥️❤️ The enjoyed them very much. And it didn't spike up their blood sugar. I'm coming her from now on. The regular cakes looks good also.
