A lofty, open vibe with outstanding city views awaits you on the 8th floor rooftop of the Canopy by Hilton property. We had no problem securing a patio seat with perfect skyline views on a Saturday evening. Their plates to share menu is perfect for when you are feeling “peckish” (I recommend the tandoori chicken bites)…. The drinks are tasty and this spot is great for either beginning an evening on the town or ending one.. great access off of US 75…and it’s a block away from the DART rail station if you don’t want to drive downtown! Absolutely a must try!

Love going to Upside!! It’s always a vibe no matter what day! James makes the best drinks ever, I’m talking every time, and I’m very picky about my drinks especially tequila based ones! The staff is all filled with super dope people, but James, Jay and Michael have to be my favorites for sure!!

My husband and I sat down and waited 15 mins…I believe they have one waitress for the entire patio, which is obvious to say, no one ever approached so we left.
Eli and Oscar were so fun! They make the best cocktails and have great conversation! Eli's mojito was made with fresh limes and mint the flavor blew me away! Would love to come back!

We had a great date night here! There is inside and outside patio seating with a beautiful view of the sky line. The food was yummy and the drinks were reasonable priced. Our waiter/staff were very friendly. Highly recommend closer to sunset/nighttime. We went around 5:30 and we got roasted. So dress accordingly.Happy eating!
