Only sushi spot open later than your moms house (ooooooooooooo) great sushi, people are really nice. I wouldn't say go here as your first option for sushi, but definitely try it out if you're craving some and you're just in the area. Opened pretty new so everything's nice and shiny. Overall a good spot, not the best but definitely does the job.

Everything started off great upon entering, but once we began ordering our drinks, it was downhill from there. There's nothing worse than going to a restaurant and them pretending to be fancy but really they're giving the equivalent to an Applebee's or Fridays experience or perhaps a diner. I ordered a glass of champagne and the server brought me Prosecco. I asked him what kind of champagne it was and he told me...Oh it's not champagne. it's Prosecco. I didn't want to bring you, the most expensive thing on the menu. I told him that there's a difference between Prosecco and champagne and if a client asked for champagne, that is exactly what they want. I didn't ask him how much it cost so I was surprised he mentioned that. I told him when a client is requesting something and there's multiple options, then he should have walked me through the process and allowed me to choose from the menu that he brought, but there was no menu brought, and he just assumed. The sushi was drenched in sauce to the point I couldn't even pick it up with the chopsticks. Subpar food and service at best. I would never recommend nor will I ever come here again. Oh, and I left out the white colored espresso martini with no espresso.

Update: concerning response, you can walk to multiple other establishments that are open past 10:30, would love to know what residents they’re referring to since they clearly have no idea and never spoke to anyone in the neighborhood. My review stands, I have tried your sushi it’s not good and don’t want to eat raw sushi from anywhere that turns into a “lounge”…. Which isn’t even the correct use of lounge. No lounges have DJ’s.This place turns into a weird club lounge. Would not eat raw sushi anywhere that turns into a club or lounge, whatever they want to call it. If you’re looking for actual sushi avoid at all cost, if you’re looking for “curated vibes by a DJ” go ahead and go wild here….. hard pass

Overall, the experience was not a great one. The food was good. The service, however, was not great. Our waitress dropped the menu and then vanished for 15 minutes. If we hadn't stopped another employee, I believe we would have been waiting longer. After we ordered, 10 minutes later, she returned asking us to verify our order as two other wait staff weren't working today..made 0 sense. I guess she didn't write it down and never placed the order. 45 minutes later we finally got food...and poof...she was gone again. We had to stop other employees to get refills on drinks and finally the check.

Best Sushi I had had. Better than Morimoto in Vegas. The yellowtail carpaccio was incredible and the rolls were fantastic too. Our server Tessa was very accommodating and took great care of us.

I came in on a busy night and had a wonderful experience. My server, Tessa, walked me through her favorites on the menu and helped me pick my new favorite appetizer. She was so nice and helpful and I cannot wait to go back.

I noticed Yellowtail had opened a few months ago after leaving Mavs games. They had employees out front canvasing passerbys, it's actually the only reason I ended up coming back in here to give it a try. The sushi is phenomenal, it's definitely high grade and the portions for nigiri are far beyond other high quality sushi spots you might find in West village. They are open super late too! Atmosphere & service are on point! Definitely coming back.

This is a place where start to finish is taken care of by everyone top to bottom. We changed our reservation to be here based upon their storefront and then we doubled down based off their reception team. Come here and ask for Tessa, she will take care of you!
