This is one of the cleanest restaurants in Dayton!. Employees always nice, when we go inside and eat. Manager teaching the younger ones to clean. Tables and Chairs and restrooms! Foods great and you can get a dozen rolls way cheaper than Hartz! I think they are better too! Keep up the good work Chicken Express!
I visited this location today, at about 1:24 PM, and I must say that I am very pleased with the quality of service that I received. My meal was prepared just as I requested, and the cashier was very nice and friendly. I didn’t get her name, but I a happy customer ?

The service is lacking, they take way too long to have the food ready. It almost seems as though they prepare the chicken when ordered. There is never enough chicken ready and I usually have to choose a different option. They say the wait for chicken to fry is 15-20 minutes, then I wait in line at the drive through for 10-15 minutes and I get to the window and they say it'll be 15 minutes for the chicken to be ready because he's putting it down now.They must have bad management or not enough people frying chicken. They definitely have major issues. This place has had bad service for a few years now. Not having enough chicken that's ready to serve has been an ongoing problem with this place in Dayton.I do NOT recommend this place.

Approached manager about gravy portions on their mash potatoes.he wanted to charge me .50 cents for gravy that should of already been on the mash potatoes. No resolve! Week later I go back same manager, same issue with lack of gravy on mash potatoes!!! Manager is clueless, deaf and brainwashed!

I believe the gentleman’s name was Joshua or Joseph. I wish I could remember but today he was doing his job very well and was very helpful and friendly. Date was 3/12/24 around 3:30. He deserves some recognition for his hard work. It’s hard to find employees like him. I deal with a lot of restaurants every day and he is one of the best.

We got the liver which took a while, but the nice man gave us a pie for our wait. The food was good too.
We stopped in Dayton on Christmas Eve. There was a little wait because they were very busy. It was worth it. All 8 pieces of chicken were great. Crispy, hot and delicious after being in the package for forty minutes. We got the food and drove to the next town to eat lunch with family. The rolls were delicious and the mashed potatoes and gravy were hot and delicious. We had a fantastic lunch because the workers made us a tasty, perfectly fried chicken dinner. Kudos to the young man who served us that afternoon because he was nice and friendly and made sure our order was perfect. The chicken dinner was so good I'm taking the time to write this because I seldom enjoy fast food because it does not taste very good or it's soggy. This chicken and fixin's were all great!

Stopped in on the way to East Texas, order was not filled right away when the manager came in about 10 minutes later. She was more than accommodating, Alley kept apologizing and gave us an extra piece of fish since we had been waiting so long. She was not only accommodating but also very friendly.

Well they were giving other people orders to other people. I ordered a 15 piece and they asked me if I wanted the 8 peice. No I will wait for U to make fresh for my 18 peice. I also ordered corn on on the cob. Didn’t get than call for a refund well I have to be call my boss on how to do that. Never ever
