As I drove up to the restaurant right off the back the exterior atmosphere was very off putting, they had a junky looking car in the front and rusted tables outside. A single window unit held up by wooden planks. As I approached the restaurant I heard two men yelling or arguing about something so I didn't even bother going inside as if felt extremely unsafe. Also there was a bike hauling a lawnmower parked outside the place. Just extremely off putting environment seemed too dangerous to enter. I can't say much for the food but seeing the exterior of the restaurant I could only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Honestly might be the best catfish in town!It's a humble little spot, but the food punches far above its weight! I usually get a catfish plate with okra and candied yam or mac&cheese. The quality is spot on every time. Transports me back to my childhood...Sometimes they may run out of certain sides, but that's just the reality of the business. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's really nice to be supporting a local business that makes food with heart!

I love clara’s. I despise fish but I LOVE their catfish. Not fishy, crispy crush, yummy. The music is great, the staff is friendly and funny. A-one in my book and I’m pretty picky. Can’t wait to try their ox tails.
I googled the restaurant to make sure they were open and when I arrived the door was locked and it looked as if the restaurant was out of business as there was no one there.

Order thru Uber eats order banana pudding which they did not have order greens and cabbage they did not give me in my order. boudin bites they did not have !!! Kool-aid or sweet tea THEY DID NOT HAVE! Fried pickles taste indescribably horrible. Fries taste like who done it!! And got this cheap root beer instead of my drinks. Placed order at 6:04 and received at 8:10. Just a awful experience for the amount of money spent.. I bet if I was Keith Lee they would have went all out.
The amount of orders that they've canceled or delayed to oblivion is ridiculous. If you value your time, don't come here.

0-10 will never try again. Cooked the entire thing with no gloves on and the food was cold. Health inspectors would close them down.
The fish and fries were greasy, overcooked, and looked like they were cooked in old oil. The beans and cornbread lacked any type of flavor.I had to wait in my vehicle because the place was smoked out from burnt food I'm assuming. The service was reasonable.

Waited over hour for a super dry pork chop sandwich the fish was so hard it would break a rock didn't get the extra sides that were ordered really disappointing and really wanted this to be good place. UPDATE spoke with Emanuel who apologized and offered a refund and a free meal. He saw the review reached out and was on his way to the restaurant when we spoke to address the issue. I will be trying them again because he reached out and that is mich appreciated!

I will NEVER order from this place again! The reviews were mixed so I decided to give them a try. Not only did I NOT get what I ordered, it was ALL cold and some of it tasted like it came from a can!None of the sides I ordered were in my bag, seems they just gave me what they had left! I’m allergic to dairy, so I definitely DIDNT order Mac & Cheese! And the peach cobbler was so cold it seemed it was taken from a refrigerator! So disappointing.
