The waitstaff takes 15 minutes to even approach your table to give you a menu. They close at 11 pm, we got there and sat down at 10 pm however when the waitress finally came over to give us a menu, she tells us that they close in 30 minutes so they’re only taking to go orders. We’ve eaten there several times before, believe me it’s not worth the wait or being treated like you don’t matter.

Very disappointed in my experience at Coney Island. We got in the restaurant at around 10:20pm and expected to have more than enough time to eat a quick meal before they closed at 11pm.We sat ourselves (past this camera crew that was taking up half of the restaurant for a film project) and sat without being acknowledged by either of the 2 waitresses for nearly 20 minutes. Finally, we flagged down a waitress that was serving a nearby table. She moved as if she wasn’t going to initially talk to us until we literally spoke up at her and made direct eye contact with her. After we finally got her attention, she told us that it was too late to order in and they were only doing to-go orders at this point. I have never in my life heard of a restaurant doing to-go orders only when they are still operating within their posted hours. Not to mention, if we had known that 20 minutes prior we wouldn’t have wasted our time sitting there. We got up and left to another restaurant close by on the square. I had been looking forward to going to Coney Island for the first time in a few years, but it seems like I have not been missing much. Additionally, I heard the food quality has dropped in recent months anyway from people who were eating there next to us.It’s hard to imagine I will give this place another try after the blatant disregard for us.

Ruben was delicious. Fries lacked flavor, and so did chicken and waffles. That's what we came there for because my kids wanted chicken and waffles. The chicken looked like the cheap frozen chicken that you get at the cafeteria. Service was okay. She only said a few words and was not warm in personality. For the price, it wasn't worth it.

Everytime I visit ,the service and food is awesome! The only downside is when you are in a party of 4 or more your food doesn't come out on time. Party of 9 for example. Two people where almost done with their by the time my husband received his food. He was the last one. It wasn't busy. Other than that. Everything is great.

I decided to go on a friend date here after the local Waffle house unfortunately did not meet my diner house dreams (usually I'm a waffle house fanatic). My friend and I sat at the counter, we arrived around 10. W closing at 11. The server was super relatable, silly and attentive. I appreciated the server Alexa's willingness to go above & beyond with welcoming my friend & I and helping us navigate the menu. I'm pescatarian & Alexa gave bomb food suggestions.I got the TG bowl w the recommended black bean patty substitution & some jalapeños & cheddar added. I also got a Nutella, banana, & strawberry waffle. The food was so freaking good. Best I've had at a late night spot, and we got lots of good laughs in. Give this place a visit whether local or not!In the words of my very Texan friend,Eat here y'all ?

Menu options are pretty good, really nicely surprised they served breakfast all day long.Location is in downtown Denton which is nice, building is old which to be expected but needs some good cleaning.Service was outstanding, however I am personally wasn’t impressed with the food.It wasn’t bad but I just didn’t enjoy it much, but again it just my personal opinion.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Jessica was our server and she had the best service. Food was great aswell. Definitely would recommend this place for a good meal.

The service is good. The food is average to good but not phenomenal. I feel the place has declined in cleanliness a bit as there is usually smell now. Menu items have changed since they first opened so the same ingredients isn't used and thus the flavor has changed, especially in their mozzarella cheese sticks which used to be pretty amazing with their homemade ranch. Waitresses are usually great!
