Best dining hall I’ve ever been to! Im not even vegetarian but I loved the food. We came 3 days in a row to try all the diverse foods they offered. My favorite was Wednesday when they had Indian food. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Having a hot peanut butter and jelly panini while hiding from my roommate always brightened my day. Always good fresh fruit

best dining hall fr ? The selection actually rotates (unlike other UNT dining halls) and they have tons of options so you never get tired of them, the food is always good, their breakfast gets me waking up in the mornings, absolute holy grail for a vegan college student in texas. i luv u mean greens <3 manifesting that one day they'll stay open on weekends :)

FYI: entrance is from Avenue C just south of Maple St. Walk up the small staircase just north of the loading dock for Maple Hall on Ave C, and the entrance to Mean Greens will be a brief walk down the covered walkway and through the double doors on your right. The chefs know what they're doing here! I tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner service all in the span of two days. For non-students, you can pay for any meal of the day for $9 + tax, all-you-can-eat. Tons of choices, and the variety keeps things interesting (e.g., veggie tofu scramble, red curry tofu, seitan yakitori, lentil shepherd's pie). The vegetable sides are cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully (e.g., roasted broccoli & parsnips, spicy orange carrots, sweet potatoes). Infused water flavors change day to day (e.g., watermelon thyme, peach basil, strawberry ginger). The only thing I would skip is any frosted cake: the icing is too sweet for my taste. But the chocolate chip bake and the brownie were both amazing. I turned them both into sundaes by topping them with vanilla soft serve.Next time, I need to ask about the freshly made veganini (i.e., vegan panini).

Excellent food quality and service. They serve something different every day and all of it is plant-based.

Great food! I am not vegan but I like the options. Great place to go if you have a dinning plan.

Staff very attentive, food always rotated to keep fresh. Wide selection of food to choose from. Rotating themes by day of the week (Asian/Indian/home style/etc.) All vegan! Reasonably priced for a buffet $8.65+tax (only vegan buffet in town). Nice and fresh salad bar.

Love this dining hall so much! They do different options every day so you never get bored with the selections. Everything's vegan and so delicious! My favorite dining hall at unt by far!

Amazing vegan food with tons of options, everything is delicious, and the dessert is extremely good. It's the best food spot on campus in my opinion.

Not many options, unless youre vegan just go to eagles landing

The menu has yet to change for breakfast, but it isn't bad, all things considered.

For vegetarian and healthy options, I think the food is very good. Also, being compared to it's neighboring cafeterias, the options are more healthy and (in my opinion) taste a lot better!

A small/medium sized plate- 6 or 7 pieces of green beans, a tablespoon of rice, 2 tablespoons of grits, and a slider $8.88. granted it's all you can eat, but they're REALLY rationing portions, and you have to keep going back up for more. That's great for eliminating wasted food and if you're on a diet you'll basically be too embarrassed to go back for more than 2nds. But wow. There's more drink options than food options. Staff isn't the friendliest- you can tell they hate their jobs. I won't be back ever.
