Very well kept and welcoming restaurant. They provide large meals and for fair rates. We loved the menu a lot and the staff members were very personal and informative. I recommend this place.

My husband and I love Tex Tapas!!! The trio appetizer (salsa, queso and gauc) is literally the best thing EVER! They also have delicious margaritas and my favorite dish there was the Salmon with the shredded cabbage and peppers. Wishing these guys would open up their doors again to enjoy some wonderful food! Without a doubt one of our Denton "go-to's". We miss you guys!!!! <3

Best restaurant in Denton by far! The traditional rugged Texas decor sends you back to the Wild Wild West! The service is always kind which makes the food taste even better! If you're hankering for a drink, they have a nice selection of beers, spirits, and wine! If you prefer the outdoors don't worry, there are a few tables just outside the front door! Every time I dine at Tex Tapas it makes my day, week, and month so much more satisfying! I never want to see this place be anything but Tex Tapas!!!

Fun little place! I ordered the pot pie - it was good but a little bland to me. My friend ordered the chicken biscuits, and she wasn't a fan of the sauce on it. We both liked each other's better and ended up swapping. Boils down to taste, I guess, but we both ended up happy! Great service and friendly staff too!

Grew up on a farm/ranch eating calf fries a couple of times a year. Found out that Tex Tapas had them on their menu, so wanted to give them a try. I wasn't disappointed, they were probably the best I've had that weren't cooked at home. I ordered the "Big Balls in Cowtown" which comes with fries and some black pepper gravy. I don't usually eat my calf fries with any kind of condiment, but the gravy really kicked them up a notch. Overall appearance of restaurant was clean and the service was very good. Not a lot of parking in front, but plenty of public parking just around the corner. I recommend and will be back.
