Housed in a trailer, big things come in small packages at The Pickled Carrot. The Vietnamese food truck hasn't been on my wishlist long and I'm glad I didn't hesitate. A classic Vietnamese fare, I settled on the seasoned pork Banh-Mi, I could smell the savory pork when I walked up. The sandwich exceeded my expectations and didn't stick around long, I'm already looking forward to my next banh-mi ?

Always great food from The Pickled Carrot. Visited the truck at East Side yesterday and had an overall great experience ordering and the food was ready faster than I expected! The Bánh Mì’s are always solid (the tofu one is fried perfectly, the eggplant is just great, and I tried the pork for the first time yesterday and it had great flavor). The V-Fries are amazing, too. Maybe I’m just a sucker for pickled carrots and daikon. Order the Far East Philly if it’s available, it’s what made me fall in love with this place.

Pork Bahn Mi and Pork Egg Rolls were delicious! I’m not in Denton often but when I go back, I’m definitely coming here again. Can’t beat the atmosphere of Miss Angeline’s and Eastside!

Great tasting food, small portions for the price… The rice bowl with extra meat (an extra two dollars) didn’t have much on it. Meat tasted great and was well seasoned, just wish there was more of it for the price, especially if I pay extra for more.
Costumer service was absolutely horrible. Red head called me a bitch after being rude slamming the window on me and 3 other Costumers face for being at the pick up window. Absolutely unprofessional for no reason.

Been looking for an outdoor area to enjoy the fall weather. The Austin Street food truck area is great. However, the food trucks left us underwhelmed. We ordered two bahn mis and fries. The sandwich was a little small and could have used more flavor. The fries were decent but nothing special.We were really hoping that the food would be great but it wasn't on par. I would definitely come back to the area for drinks but nothing more.

I ordered double meat and I don't think they did it. For $14 plus a tip I got a micro dinner. Lucky if it was 300 calories. Not worth it. The location at Harvest House is amazing, but this one is overrated.
