Really disappointed , the reviews were good but I asked for egg a la Mexicana with beans but ended up getting potato a la Mexicana no egg with over done bacon the salsa has no taste the green sauce was very watery they keep the drive thru window open so the exhaust from the cars at the window come inside.

This morning I was in Denver city for a funeral. We decided to get some breakfast at La Especial. My wife read somewhere that they had the best breakfast burritosWhere do I start. They were friendly, then we had to wait for 45 minutes for our 5 burritosI ordered SEP Sausage egg and potato.The egg was overcooked or under stirred in the processThe burrito had very little sausage and a fair amount of potatoMy wife ordered egg a la mexicana with beans.To our surprise There were no eggs, they substituted potatos insteadThe potatoes were over cooked and hardThe Bean burrito with cheese was actually Cheese with beans burritoThe red sauce had no heat all tomatoThe green sauce was mostly water with green bits floating aroundAlso they had a drive through which they left the window open and let all the exhaust from the cars come inThe burritos were mediocre at bestI would try a different place next time
