Fantastic food, slow service, real good atmosphere with music and original Mexican bevs. They’re moving to where the Burger King used to be soon.

Best Mexican in and around Abilene and the service is top notch. The Burritos are huge and blow the competition out of the water.

Paquin is authentic Mexican. The chorizo breakfast burrito are full of flavor and spice. The Carne asada taco are amazing. It your super hungry dive into a bear burrito. Prices are decent and the service is quick. Located on Dyess AFB. Definitely worth stopping in, if you live or work on base.

Visited Piquin as I departed Dyess after a quick TDY from Tinker AFB..I sampled the pastor street tacos and their signature habanero sauce.. The pastor tacos were among the best street tacos I've ever experienced.. The marinated pork was perfectly seasoned, the cilantro and onions fresh, and the pair of corn tortillas hot and lightly grilled..The habanero sauce had a bit more heat than I've experienced from many other habanero-based sauces and salsas, but it added the perfect amount of additional flavor to the tacos to make them epic!!I washed everything down with a Mexican Coke and left a very happy camper.. The ladies running the place were super friendly and accommodating, and I wish them very well.. I truly hope they are still there on my next visit!!

Hands down the best thing to eat on Dyess. They certainly have their own process, but it works and the chow is really good. Cheers
