Had a friend visit from Illinois, and we wanted to feed him an authentic Tex Mex breakfast. What better place than 107 Cafe? Migas Rancheras con chorizo with corn tortillas. (This isn't a great breakfast for us vegetarians, however.) Love the mural map of some local cities, too. Great friendly staff, too!Vegetarian options: I think that even if you didn't order meat, the eggs and migas are still cooked in lard or grease. Long time vegetarians actually lose the enzymes to process meat products, so your guts will talk to you about it later.

If there was a option for Zero stars I would be using it.I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and recently had a fundraiser with them & my sons school at B.L.Garza.I bought all five tickets so 10$ each one, so 50$.I past the deadline by ONE day, I called the next morning asking if I could still pick up those plates .That I purchased for my son.I had understood thier deadline but , by one day , I didn’t ask for my money back nor wanted to make a huge scene.Just want to see if I could get the plates I paid for.The manager rudely said “no”.I asked if I could at least have 2 plates out of the 5 that I paid for, and he still said “no”.Being a customer who’s dinned there for years , with my family.I was shocked,your telling me a “family “ “respected “ restaurant is willing to loose a customer they have been having for years for 50$.What I don’t get is why?The tickets were paid for by me.The food purchase wasn’t on some special promotion or deal.They were not at discounted price.If it was another manager he would have simply said “ of course just make sure next time your come before for the deadline “ I paid for the TICKETS .Your not losing your money as a business your just losing a customer who brought customers to your restaurant and scamming them.The money wasn’t the issue the lack of sympathy ,and being a money hungry business is why I will no longer be dining here.Not showing sympathy for a one day ,AFTER IT WAS ALREAYD PAID .How embarrassing your should be ashamed.If you want a place who actually cares about you and not what’s in your pocket I would not attend this restaurant.I will be leaving a review on all my pages.

Salsa with toasted tortillas was a great starter before our delicious breakfast. I had migas, my husband had the breakfast special, and our daughter had the French toast breakfast.

We all had the special and large tea. Laughter and good food. It is " who you are with" but good food helps. This is not a vegetarian restaurant.

Yesterday the enchiladas were semi-cold and I sent them back, they heated them up and I gobbled them up ???? . Today, I went back coz I wanted breakfast, the machacado with egg… great food!!! the waiter served me coffee only once and never checked if I needed anything else…. No pos wow… but still do recommend this place because of the food!! It was good when it was recommended to me a long time ago and it still is…and I will continue to visit it!!!
