My stepdad’s favorite and I can see why. Food made fresh and piping hot. The service is great and your coffee cup will never be empty. I hope that one day I’ll have a place like Carmelita’s to come to every morning to see my friends have delicious food, good conversation and great service.

A very homey restaurant hidden on a strip, immediately the atmosphere gave a very calming vibe. The staff is very kind but I felt bad because I think they told me I could sit wherever I would like twice but my Spanish is not great ?. For lunch I ordered their Fiesta platter (appetizer) and the Bistek Ranchero (main). The food itself was cooked to perfection though I've never had a Bistek Ranchero that was cooked like beef tips in stew before, it was still very tasty and easy on the stomach. My only down on the food is it could use a tiny bit more flavor to make the subtle tastes in the food pop. Please never stop improving.I've seen alot of comments when it comes to smaller restaurants that put such a high bar on food and would judge this place harshly. However what you have to take into account is that this place is not a fine dinning restaurant and does not have a staff of 30+ busting out tables left and right. Their food is however cared for and you can taste the passion that they have for cooking.

I took my wife during her lunch break, we arrived and no one attended us and there were only 3 tables occupied and about 7 waitresses just stared at us, we were waiting for about 10 minutes as soon as we were about to leave when the waitress arrived, I ordered the ranchera pork chops and omg tasteless meat, they added the sauce that they give with the tortilla chips, it was very bitter, the beans were very watery, like there was already a spoonful of beans left and they added water, my wife ordered some enchiladas and they seemed to add flour to the juice What do they use to cover the tortilla with the toast all watery no no no very bad

Came with a friend to have breakfast. The place is real Cozy and Clean. The waitress came right away and took our order. I ordered a Bacon and Egg Taco on a Flour Tortilla with a side order of refried beans. Coffee to Drink. The food was good!!!! Would recommend this place to my Friends and Family. I will be coming back to this Restaurant again.

Restaurant experience, atmosphere, food quality, and service was superb! Jessica our waitress was kind and attentive. Our food was excellent and well done. It wasn't overly seasoned or greasy. The aguas frescas were refreshing and I loved that we had free refills! FYI, The restroom was very clean and there was readily available and easy access to parking.

It has potential but it was an unpleasant experience for me. Fajita hard as rock and chewy as a gum, enchiladas cooked without love not tasty at all. Restaurant needs to be more clean.Hopefully they start doing things in a different way.
