La Paloma

It doesn't matter what you get, breakfast or lunch, it's delicious. I had eggs a la mexicana and the salsa was really good. My Dad had guisado de puerco and he said it really tasted homemade. I've had the menudo before and it's very good. The place is really clean and they have Mexican ceramic pots and decorations for sale. Everyone is very friendly.

This was my first time eating here. I came in for breakfast. You place your order at the counter, pay and then find a table. I ordered huevos ranchers with carne guisada on the side. The young gentleman at the counter was accommodating since they do not sale carne guisada on the side. Service is great and the Barbacoa is the best in Edinburg corn tortillas made fresh I mean fresh they cook the corn ! Then they make the tortillas from the freshly cooked corn every morning .They have carnitas that are slow cooked in a marinade of citrus juices that is awesome you have to try these carnitas. Of course the flour tortillas are made fresh too and these are big tortillas and that makes their tacos huge in all I love eating here it's great give them a try I'm sure...read full review
