On The Grill Restaurant Edinburg

We visit about 3 times a month and sometimes it's a hit or slight miss. I've have the fajita tacos, meat is so soft and flour or Maiz tortillas and yummers. Burgers are the ones that are sometimes a miss... We always get the natural fries and they tend to come out great, we opt for sans parm. Recently had their brunch and it was a hit. Small quaint restaurant, the setting is dimmed lighting and piano background music which set the tone for relaxing ambiance. Service was great our host and waitres were very friendly and an attentive. My husband ordered steak ranchero and on his first his eyes lit up because it was a pop of flavor. Decent. Margarita during happy hour is $5. Wasn't amazing. Too sweet for being an original lime margarita. But ok for the price I suppose.We had chicken fried chicken and chicken artichoke. Both very tasty but they didn't come out very hot. Acoustic so lowsy. There were only about 15 people altogether and my husband and I couldn't hear each other talk. We probably won't go back. But glad we tried someplace new. Oh. The Server was A+. Friendly but didn't seem to speak English too...read full review
