I had the worst experience ever at this location in Edinburg. The pictures on their Facebook page are hyped up. I got there around 1230pm for lunch and they were out of enchiladas. So I waited around for them to bring a fresh tray and to my surprise they were cold. Rice and beans had no flavor. They offered tortillas then came back and said they didn't have any corn tortillas. Their flour tortillas were cold and hard like they had been made a week before. What I think was carne guisada was all fat and hardly any meat and the gravy it was in was a gray/yellow color. Their flautas had very little filling and fried more than crispy and also room temp. Their caldos de res and pollo had been sitting their for a while and mainly just veggies. I dont know if their ac doesn't work because they had fans going on. I left a comment on their Facebook page and they blocked me.. shame on them for not stepping up their game and getting mad for leaving a comment/review. I would've given them a second chance on their menu items but not anymore after they blocked me. Shouldn't be petty like that.

Bad experience, our first time at Taco Ole Edinburgh, we ordered Coffee and the cup was very dirty, we ordered Huevos Rancheros and we ordered them over well and they made it overeasy, we returned it and again they made it wrong, I don't recommend it, and we went from McAllen .

We come here (Freddy, Edinburg location) often but this time I’m soo disappointed! Ordered dinner take out on Feb 18, 2024. Charro Beans smelled & tasted sour. The fajitas were a bit raw. But what did it was the Beef Enchilada plate. I spent hours sick from both ends & I’m 1wk postpartum! I felt so weak watching over my toddler & carrying my newborn in the bathroom! 2 days later and I still have stomach cramps.

Food was alright but not what I was expecting I remember years back when they had actual Mexican food like tacos with the buffet but I guess since inflation is through the roof they also are struggling to handle food quality and the food was cold mainly the chicken tenders and brisket they might as well have a microwave at each table so we could heat up our own food the money I spent I should’ve just went to Taco Palenque or a Street Vendor there’s better else where oh and the enchiladas reminded me of the school ones or prison food
