In my opinion, this place has the best tacos north of the border. The taste is almost identical as the tacos from Reynosa. I have gotten tacos from many places in the Valley, and I have a few favorites. So far, Tacos el Pony climbed to number one on my list when I'm craving Mexican street tacos.

Love the Lonches. That place makes them very close to the ones I get from Mexico..4 star rating because they open after 6pm. Service is excellent.
Seriously? I don't know what the heck I was supposed to think. I was their very last customer last night and they waited a bit longer because I had to go to the ATM because I was unaware they do not accept cards or anything else other than cash. I don't know if it was thrown in there out of anger or if just fell off their wall or something but it was definitely put on there afterwards because it was not all drenched in sauce from the meat. I am glad that I always open up the foil paper my tacos are placed in and repair them with onion, salsa and whatever else I put on them. This is insane. I definitely won't be returning. What would have happened if I bit into it? Broken teeth for sure and even worse if I had swallowed it.

Love these tacos! Highly recommended!! Bring cash! About 30 bucks for 2 people. We usually get 2 orders of tacos, a potato and every now then 2 Joya sodas.

The food and people who work here are great, I had not brought cash with me but I placed my order and drove to a nearby ATM. Well, I had a bank issue and wasn't able to withdrawal any cash whatsoever. I called the restaurant to let them know to cancel my order. Lady who took my order asked me to go pick up my food and pay at a later time/day. I was extremely blessed and I did go back and pay the next day. This does not happen everywhere these people are nice. God bless them and their business!

I got the Sincronizada. Added Avocado. Had a mexican coke, Joya (Ponche), to be exact. It was so good! The beans as appetizers were really good. Salsa (green or red, were both good!) Just keep in mind: Only Cash! No credit or debit... thats as of my visit here: 07/02/22
