I didn’t want to go here because of all the negative reviews, but I’m glad I did. I stopped in on a spur of the moment decision because I didn’t want typical fast food again. I got the six taco special, 3 steak and 3 chicken. They tasted great and the service was friendly. Maybe I was just there on a good day, but I’m definitely going back.

I had not been to Taqueria Zarape in 2 years. I wanted to give them a second chance. Big mistake. I ordered a potato with fajita and an order of tacos with fajita. The meat was chopped up nerve. It was inedible and had to throw everything away. What a waste.

I’ll start to say believe the reviews . The service is good , they are trying but the kitchen is definitely struggling,.All the food came out cold , I’m not sure how they melt the cheese on potatoes because they are just cold ! Also the meat is chewy. I ordered fajita corn tacos combo and the charro beans never arrived . Also potatoes came first but like I said, cold . This restaurant needs help , I’m not sure if the ovens are not working in the kitchen I can’t explain how the food comes out warm at best !

Terrible experience. I know I’m going to get criticism for this but honestly customers service is the lifeline of any business. The last couple of times I have gone here the person refuses to take our order. Says he can’t speak English. Why put someone in that position who can’t speak English? I can’t work in all positions here in the valley cause my Spanish limited. This has happened to a couple of my family members. We are done with El Zarape. It’s not like there isn’t any other options of taco places.

Fajita tacos were bland meat was all membrane zero taste hardly any meat to even taste the little bit of meat. Badly made tacos. Meat was steamed instead of fried. Double corn tortillas to minimize the lack of membrane meat. Potato was hard not cooked. Awful service! Never again.

I sent my son to pick up tacos since I wasn't in a cooking mood. We figured we would order the family pack but then my daughter decided she wanted the pirata combo. We always order the potato with butter and cheese ONLY. .. my son picked up the order ... when he got home, the order was missing the pirata combo (I paid for it), the potatoes had EVERYTHING and the meat was HORRIBLE! They were the worst tacos- EVER! When I called to tell them about the missing order- Mr. Sergio told me to look again. Excuse me, WHY would I be calling IF the order was there? I'm going by to pick up my money and I will NEVER go back! Save your money and getting upset .. try a different taqueria! I gave it a ONE star because I HAD to select one in order to post the review! Honestly ... 0 stars
This Zarape and their managers are very unprofessional ‘& rude! I understand that by almost closing they only have a certain type of meat, but they served me a family pack cold and the tortilla hard when I call back the manager says they are closing that they would take care of it another day! So when Calle stir the order the manager says it’s not valid anymore that it should have been that day! Or no more than 3 days after but they didn’t mention any time frame when they first spoke to me! So $30 plus for a family is so not worth it & didn’t get my money back nor replacement! To the very least fresh tortilla & fresh meat!

Fair service but the tacos had cartilege and fat in every bite, frijoles were very bland and watery flavored with mostly just water in the cup. Potato was good but they barely added any toppings to it. Salsa had absolutely no flavor or spice. Honestly had not gone to zarape in months because of this but it was on my way to work and i needed food. If yall want good food go to La Mexicana. Those are my go to every day

Never have any issues here and the food is generally good. There have been times of having to many fatty pieces in tacos. I wish they would have the salsa back on the table and better lime slices. They are dry.
