I purchased a 50 block meal plan, and today, the last day the dining hall was open, my last two meal swipes suddenly were removed my account.The GET app tracks every swipe made on your account. I counted and it was very clearly 48 swipes. I was suppose to have two left.I explained to the person at the front, Ashley, but she said that she could not let me in unless the system “scanned me in” Ashley directed me to speak with Dining Services department to resolve my issue.I did not have time to do this as I had work in a few minutes. I had to go to work on an empty stomach.I politely asked to speak with her supervisor to show her that I still had meals remaining. Her supervisor, a white female, was extremely rude, unprofessional and even seemed to be confused as to why I could not be let in without scanning. When Ashley explained it again, she became very irate and annoyed and refused me service.I understand that they were just following the rules, but as a hard working student, I do not deserve the disrespect that shown to me by Ashley’s supervisor. I also simply deserve to get what I paid for, and I think an exception should have been made in this case. Unacceptable.

A all you can eat buffet , that changes meals every day of the week. Employees are nice and kind, they have different food varieties. UTRGV should really put this place out there more , many students think it’s for only Resident students who live on campus , but that’s not the case
