Wow, wow and double wow, I wish the chef lived with us :) When it said 'comfort food' i was scared it would be greasy but wow was it good. The food was very flavorful and fresh. The chicken fried steak was very tender and even the tea was great.

Stopped for brunch after recommendation from friends. Party of 6 on patio on a perfect February morning in Texas (65°). Service was very personable, a friend to the owners. Owner came out to meet/welcome us. Really enjoyed the Sin Amen toast, the Red Velvet chicken and waffle, and especially the mimosas. Great spot!!

We had dinner and I absolutely loved the experience. Good music over the speakers, comfy surroundings with an artsy vibe, and delicious food. I had the shrimp and grits and it was the best I've ever had. Seasoned perfectly and the grits were on point. If you are a fan you know its easy to overcook the grits and they are mushy. No worries here! The green beans were equally as delectable. My son had the Avocado provolone smothered chicken. He was thru the roof about it. I did not get a taste as it was gone in a flash. The mashed potatoes are to die for. My pops had the chicken fried steak. One of the best I've ever tasted and hands down the best in the area. They have a good wine selection and other fermentation to enjoy. We will definitely be back to this little gem! Highly recommend you stopping in and sampling the wares. Thank you for pleasing my palate!

The food is good. I had the beef potpie. there was too much of something added to it, tho. The soup is so good. The handcut fries are good, but they need to be soaked to get the brown color out :-) if you soak them, they fry up golden brown instead of the dark dark brown. I'll be back.

My wife got on to me when I ordered the chicken fried meatloaf, then helped me enjoy it. Really, really good. Nice presentation too. Vegetables were very fresh. Dessert was great. Highly recommend that you go out of your way to eat here.
Awesome food and staff, couldn’t ask for anything more. My new favorite burger and can’t wait to try the steak and shrimp. Ate here Saturday at the cruise night and had to bring my wife here the next day after church. It’s that good!!!!
