I have eaten at La Malinche several years ago, and it was pretty good. However, today's visit left me unimpressed. My husband and I went for breakfast, and both plates lacked flavor. The huevos rancheros had a watery cheese sauce with mild jalapeños. My beans desperately needed salt. The green chile sauce served with the meal was flavorless, not even spicy. We both really enjoyed the delicious tortillas. I will probably not be returning to this establishment.
They have two more locations for this one(Yarborough and Doniphan)I enjoyed the music, traditional ballroom.Atmosphere is elegant. Feels friendly and well decorated.Price is right, not overpriced for the quality.

Very busy! Waitress was very busy! We were group of 4 & our food was not brought out together. We waited for @ least 10 minutes to receive 2 of our orders. The Mexican plate was not appealing. Our appetizer was being brought out with our entrees. We canceled that order. Managers need more cooks /waitresses.
