It took a long time to give us our food, the food without salt and with very little flavor, the cashier with a bad attitude and very bad service.. we will not return!!

First time I visited this place was to pick up an order, I arrived 10 minutes after the order should have been ready, waited an additional 20 minutes for order to be ready. The only good thing was a man helped me take food to my car. Food was okay.Went to actually eat in the restaurant. Wait was ridiculous, lady taking order no customer service, food was below average. Service is horrible. Waited at the counter to ask for salsa no one would even acknowledge me standing there until I finally said excuse me. That was the only good thing there the salsa. It’s obvious it’s a popular place perhaps we ordered the wrong food that has made them popular. Their wall accolades do not reflect so to date. Maybe due to that they think they no longer should do better. Won’t return again.

I’ve been eating here for 15yrs. Customer service has slowly been declining over the years but it’s been sinking the last couple of months. If my order was incorrect it’d be a simple apology and go on about my day although a new arrogant worker changed my outlook on the restaurant all together. The food is good, salsa isn’t the salsa I remember.

Food is always delicious. Service has gone down, especially after today’s incident. I called to make a pickup order, it was verified, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, the young lady helping me had no order for me and asked me several times if I called the correct location. She showed me the receipts for two pending orders that were obviously not mine. Again, she asked me if I called the correct location. I asked her what the phone number was there at Fort Boulevard and she didn’t even know that. I showed her my phone so she could see that I did call the correct location. There was no apology, no attempt to make the order, offer a solution, nothing. I was treated like it was my fault and I made the error. My family and I have been eating there for years, but after today’s incident, I will never walk in there again . This is not the first time for this lousy service & crummy attitude. Adios!!

Hands down this place is filled with everything you are looking for in a restaurant. The owner took down our order and we share some stories of how they got started and ended up belonging to the same parish. We felt like we knew each other for yrs the place made you feel like home The salsa was outstanding full of flavor. The gorditas had such a perfect crunch packed with the works ,you don't have to wait for St Anthonys bazzaar to get the gorditas they have them right there. They were very tasty accompanied with the salsa its such a great compliment. This is in our list of really good places to visit as often as we can.

Fantastic simple place for orders at a counter and pick and eat at home or in their restaurant. Tiny but mighty. Gorditas are the best in town in my opinion.
