Well, first of all, I will have to say this was the biggest waste of money and time. We were driving from TX back to our home state and I wanted to have "Texas bbq" and also be in a place where I could bring my fur babies, so we asked to sit on the patio. As you can see, it was a dumpster. The tables were extremely dirty, the artificial grass was nasty, and there was trash all over the floor. That is problem number one. The next thing is when we ordered our food, our nachos were so soggy and wet we couldn't eat them ( we ordered a half order for an appetizer) We had to ask for paper towels, plates, and forks and the waitress acted bothered. When our food got there, my food was cold, and the taste was well I will say I couldn't eat it. The ribs were tiny, the brisket was questionable, the coleslaw was gross and looked old, and they had no sausage in-house. We showed up on a Monday early afternoon- really? The other dish we ordered was a baked potato with brisket, which too was cold and not very flavorful at all. So disappointing. We had read the reviews before coming but we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, we should have have not done that. Do not do the same as we did, trust the negative reviews. We have photos to show!! This place should not even be in business.

Amazing flavours and tender meats. Would highly recommend the green Chile rice as a side, it was outstanding.

I cannot say enough good things about Desert Oak BBQ. The food was delicious. The brisket had great flavor, a beautiful smoke ring and was super moist. Some of the best brisket I have ever had. The green chile cheese rice was fantastic. One of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. The key lime pudding was great as well. I greatly enjoyed the key lime pudding. Cool atmosphere. My server I believe her name was Autumn was fantastic she took great care of me and never let my tea glass get empty. Extremely reasonable price for quality BBQ.

We had the Pork Belly Bites with Asian Sauce. If you have any sauce left over, you won't want to waste a drop and will be scooping it to put on something else. We had the Stuffed Potato with Chopped Brisket, as well as Sausage, Turkey, Cole Slaw, Green Chili Rice, and Potato Salad. If we didn't live 1400 miles away, we'd have it all again tomorrow.Special thanks to Denise C and everyone who took care of us tonight, for treating us like we were friends who had come over for dinner.

Went in with a party of 15 and expected to wait and got in quick. My party of 3 ordered quickly and waited. The rest of party trickled in and order so food started coming out and we waited and nothing. So an hour later no food for my family. The manger said she would box it up so we could go. We wanted to eat with our family . The server seemed nice but no food for an hour was upsetting.

As it's spring and getting nicer- we decided to take our doggo and eat in the patio, only to be turned down by the host. Why have a patio with seating if it's closed? Very disappointing.

The food is good HOWEVER I did a pickup order and HALF the items weren’t there. After spending $83 and did a tip (which my bad I should of opened the bag and verified verses believing my receipt stapled on the bag) I can’t even call to get through and it isn’t worth a 20 minute drive for the F up and poor service this provided. Please be more diligent. Money is tight for everyone, it’s a luxury to eat out and my family will be more mindful where/who we do business with.

Get the brisket! The brisket burnt ends were probably the best burnt ends I've ever had. The lean brisket was also very good, moist and super flavorful. The ribs were pretty good, sausage not my favorite.I had the cream corn and coleslaw were okay.I wasn't a fan of how they seat you and have a waitress take your order.

Awesome place to visit whether you're local of passing though El Paso. Good BBQ to try. Brisket is good but a bid too salt. Sausages are a bit spicy. Delicious cream corn and Mac n Cheese. Fries are very differnet and unique. I can only describe as chip fries, crispy bit not too thin. I need to go back to try the Dino Rib.Outstanding customer service. The staff are extremely friendly and there is definitely an emphasis on customer service as ther provide multiple avenues to provide feedback such as with a exit kiosk or Google review. More businesses should follow this example.

Great service and very clean restaurant. Food was good, not the greatest brisket or pulled pork I’ve ever had but by far the best El Paso has to offer. Fair prices. Definitely a good restaurant

Delicious BBQ joint that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. My friend and I came here to grab a late lunch prior to flying out of El Paso, and this was 100% the right decision. We opted for a build your own bowl, which has a choice of two sides, meat, and toppings. I got mine with the green chile rice and beans, brisket, toreado, and pico de gallo. The rice was something else - perfectly flavored and tender without being mushy, I could eat it every day. The brisket was tender and the soy sauce soaked toreado added a nice extra saltiness. Our waitress Jackie was friendly and they accept credit cards. Free parking lot. They do serve alcohol and coffee. It’s good for big groups as well as children. Overall, it was a super yummy place to eat.
