Stopped here on the way back from Hueco Tanks for breakfast and was completely surprised. Service was great and the chilequiles and enchiladas montadas were amazing. Both red and green sauce were excellent. It's been days later now and I'm still craving it. Price is very good too.

My wife & I came here for breakfast and got the Enchiladas montadas. They were really good and the sauce was flavorful. The owner Oscar was consistent in checking in on us to ensure everything was great. It’s great to know that this is a family owned business which will definitely have us coming back! I would recommend that others stop by here and see for themselves the excellent food and customer service!

Great for that home cooked meal experience.

Ensenada is one of the closest restaurants to Hueco Tanks and also happens to be really good. I have the steak ranchero breakfast and should have also ordered the menudo. Oscar is the owner and he also happened to be serving us (and running the register). Great vibe, great food, and great prices.

Came here for breakfast, delicious food at a great price and a really friendly owner! We had the steak omelette, huevos rancheros, and the machaca, with some incredibly fluffy pancakes, all were tasty.

Stopped here for breakfast after climbing at Hueco Tanks. The owner and his family have run the restaurant for over 20 years. They were so nice and accommodating. And the food was great! This is real El Paso Mexican food, no cheesy Tex-Mex here. Highly recommend this place.Kid-friendliness: They love kids here. The owners grand daughter was playing around in the restaurant herself.

I love family restaurants and Ensenada is run by a mother and son duo. For lunch I had fresh albondigas soup and tacos, as recommended by the chef. The soup was fantastic: flavorable broth that wasn't too rich, tender meatballs, and fresh vegetables. The tacos were good - love the toasted corn tortillas and a very good, fresh and spicy. Nothing fancy but full of hospitality and good home cooking. I'll go again if I'm in the area.
