IDK is now named DETOUR. It's a local bar in NE El Paso TX. Very comfortable setting place. A lot of daily drink specials. The staff is friendly. It has a good size patio for smokers and non smokers. The bar is a good size for parties. The beers are cold. I had an Ultra and a shot of HORNITOS. No skimping on the shots. I always have fun there. And I'm very picky on the bars I go to. I failed to mention the pool table and an area to throw darts.
So here's a little bar in NE El Paso on McComb street that you would have to know is there because you would miss it even if you were driving 10 mi. under the speed limit. Heck, you would have to either be a local or be invited by a local to know it's there. But, if you just long for a nice neighborhood bar without a lot of glitz, with nice people you can talk to, with the best bartender in ElPasp (Jenifer), darts, in-house food, 5 tvs, daily drink specials, juke box....... Basic ratchet bar. Just a whole in the wall that I use to live close to. I liked it and the prices were amazing so you get good drinks and service for a good price. But please it is kinda ratchet. Do people still say that word?
