Service was great, attentive and helpful while we made a beer selection. The food was also good, we have the steak tacos and chicken fries with fresh diced jalapeños! They had a good variety of beer types on tap as well as someone playing different music genres on his guitar. Recommend.

My girlfriend and I have been trying breweries around El Paso, and Mountain Star was next on our list!We arrived with our puppy in the late afternoon on a Saturday - beautiful weather out on the patio. We began with a flight and were floored by the Calavera IPA and the Hazy Cherry Blonde; at small local breweries like this, I have often experienced off-flavors in the beer, but every brew we had was wonderful, with sharp, clean flavor profiles.Not to mention the customer service: the bartender, rocking a superhero costume for the Halloween party later that night, was super friendly and helpful, giving his honest opinion about which IPAs to try. One of the owners came up to us while we were chilling on the patio and welcomed us, even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. Great customer service all around!The one hiccup I would say was the food. There's a food truck outside that offers bar food, and while it was fine, the grub wasn't nearly as memorable as the cervezas.Overall, very impressive beers and customer service at Mountain Star! We'll be returning.
