Been to this location several times. They always seem to be in some sort of distress. One time they had no hot water...no coffee..no hot tea...no way to make a hot liquid. I was baffled. Another time they were having trouble getting the floors cleaned. The carpet area around the tables were covered with crumbs and food like a toddler had been eating at each table. The wait staff is super nice, but they are either overworked or just chose not to work at a very fast pace. Wait time for everything is long.Lastly, the food here is mediocre to say the best. Soft scrambled eggs cooked so hard they had browned crispy edges. Fruit not so fresh. Greasy soggy hash browns. Just not much good cooking going on at this location. ? Pancakes are good!!
Coffee pot was spotty and dirty on the outside. Syrup container was sticky. Hash browns were awful. The oil you use is not a quality brand. It makes the hash browns taste bad and gross tasting oil. The original server was rude, rough, threw dishes on table , poured the coffee all over the cup and when I asked her for another clean cup, she was bothered. 04/7/2024 9:15 am ?. Other servers who came by were friendly, try though. But don’t let these things be ignored. You just renovated and “improved” and it’s showing signs of going bad. Please address these things to keep a good quality friendly Village Inn. ?

Had a BLT AND bowl of chicken and noodle soup, my partner had a Skillet plate and 3 berry slice of pie. We bought an apple ?? pie and a peach ? pie. The service was fantastic, the food was excellent and the two pies we brought back were perfect I recommend that to anyone The Village Inn I'm talking about is on North Mesa buy UTEP ?

Village Inn, gives me nostalgia for my youth- the 1980s. It is a staple for home- style food. My wait staff was very courteous, the service prompt, and efficient. My soup could have been a bit hotter, but the pie was superb. Village Inn is a great place to go to with family or alone - when you want to choose from a variety of food that is filling, and desert that is famous!

First customers in the morning, server was inattentive and we could smell pot coming from the kitchen. Now we know why the service was slow.

I've been to this restaurant about 6x in the last 5 months, we go occasionally. Me and my wife always order the same thing, 2 different skillets, she gets the chorizo one and I get thw all American one, always pretty good tbh, but on the last occasion my skillet look like Frankensteins masterpiece, it's was disgusting and mushy, nothing was sauted on the skillet, all the food was cooked poorly, if we eat here a 7th time, I will speak up, otherwise the food is always great

New Years Day and not many places were open. We called and they said they were short staffed so it might be a little longer to get served but said they would do their best. They exceeded their own expectations.
