Very nice music in the background for starters. I absolutely loved the food. I got the gizzards, 3pc combo w/collard greens and yams, and the fried chicken sandwich with mash potatoes. Everything was amazing! The yams are addicting lol. Try something original because I agree with one customer who said there is too many Mexican restaurants, let alone bland ones. Sue me hehe.

Amazing soul food. My husband keeps raving about how amazing the gizzards were. The meat is seasoned beautifully and fried to perfection, and the sides were so good it was hard not filling up on just them. We can't wait to bring friends here when they come to visit. Also, Friday night is karaoke night, and the staff joins in with some of the best karaoke covers I've heard. We'll definitely be back!

AH-mazing soul food spot! My friend Bill and I met up here for our monthly lunch date and we absolutely LOVED it. Now expect to spend a good amount of time there. I’m not gonna say the service wasn’t slow - because we were very well attended the whole time we were there. What I am going to say is hot, fresh, made to order soul food takes some time to make - so make sure you account for that when scheduling your meal here.My friend Bill had the liver and onions - which he said were the best he’s ever had. I had the smothered pork ribs with greens and okra and, lemme tell you, our meal was sublime! And after we ate we discovered why when the chef (I believe her name is Natalie) came out to introduce herself. She was warm, welcoming and friendly and I could tell she truly enjoyed hearing our praise and that she LOVES to cook and to feed people great food…I’d say the secret ingredient in this soul food is LOVE.Thank you for a meal that far surpassed any expectation I had for the food here! The food is pretty good. It will do for a meal for your family when you don't feel like cooking. However tips should be at my discretion. The parking is NOT good, and the wait for your order is insane. Just saying... try it for yourself, but be prepared to wait.

Had lunch here 7/2/23We were first ones in. Greeted by friendly gentleman. He admitted it was just him waiting tables. Food was delicious. We had fried chicken, pork chop and chicken fried steak. Sides were green beans, mashed potatoes, collard greens, Mac and cheese and broccoli rice casserole. All was seasoned well, coming out fresh and hot.Glad we tried it out!

Down home country cooking that is delicious. I had the catfish my girlfriend had the chicken fried steak. Excellent comfort food goodness. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for phenomenal soul food .Vegetarian options: The sides were my favorite part of the meal.
