It's better than El mannas, plus theres only 2 mexican restaurants in emory. But ultimately, I'm not too impressed. The wait staff seem space-y and slow paced even when it's busy. [Except for 1 server in particular] And the lobster enchiladas don't have actually lobster in them. Honestly, it was too expensive for Mexican food.

I've lived on Lake Fork for 4 years and been coming out here since 2014. I've eaten at nearly every Mexican food place around.. Mineola, Quitman, Greeneville,Sulphur Springs and Emory( not to mention an entire lifetime of Mexican food in DFW Where I moved from) This was our 1st visit and we won't be going anywhere else. Between 2 of us there were cheese enchiladas, a taco, rice and beans, combo fajita quesadillas and top shelf margaritas. Top to bottom they hit a homerun. I'm picky as hell about food..but they do it ALL to perfection.

Met our children 1/2 way for a birthday dinner. Party of 6 adults ....Chips & hot sauce had a great flavor & set the tone for the meal...3 chile rellenos (2 chicken, 1 beef), 2 carne asada, 1 chicken pechuga. Everything was delicious! ? My chile relleno was very flavorful & stuffed with fajita chicken. We would all go back again. Service was excellent, too. The only negative...the parking lot is too small for for the building and the potholes were huge! Circled several times before finding a spot and the kids parked down the road and walked back, even though there were tables available when we got inside. ??♀️

We LOVE Dos Charros! We come here every Friday night and sometimes on Sunday afternoon!! Maria is our favorite waitress but the entire staff is wonderful! Peppe always greats us at the door with a smile and handshake. The food is always great and Margaritas are spot on!
Great service and food. My favorite place to eat when we hit town. Going on 10 or so visits and plan on many more!

Evidently, this is a popular place. We were not impressed. It was mildly busy when we got there but seated right away. After a few minutes, still no wait staff had come by. There were a few walking around so I stopped one and asked if they could take our drink order. They said your waiter would be here shortly and walked away. It was a while longer before another showed up. I have no problem paying for good food at all. Even with a family of 6, a good meal is worth paying for. With that said, the meals are a lot pricier than say, Mariachi's in Greenville. Wife and I ordered cowboy fajitas for two, my son order enchiladas, daughter got quesadillas, and we didn't order anything for the 3yr old because she doesn't eat much at all. Long story short, the portions of the fajitas was maybe enough for one person and not that tasty. My son didn't finish his enchiladas b/c the sourcream sauce tasted bad, and the cheese in the quesadilla that my daughter got tasted horrible. And not a single refill on our drinks until I tracked the waiter down to get the check. That's $75 that I feel was totally wasted.Atmosphere was good though. Tables were layed out well, plenty of elbow room and it was very well lit. Parking was a little thin and we parked in the grass with some other vehicles. For the first time in a long time I must say that I do not recommend.
