“We got the restaurant a little late as they were starting to close. When the owners saw us walk in he immediately seated us and told us to take our time looking at the menu. Super friendly. We ended ordering 6 dishes which they were brought out to us super fast. All the food we had hit the spot!!! My favorite was the pad Thai and raw larb! Will we be coming back to this restaurant? “A cozy typical american chinese buffet. The overall quality of the food is above average. Some dishes were older than others yet not beyond the bad "heating well/lamp" taste. A good selection of food choices. The decor is kept clean. Each table is cleaned as soon as the ones eating have left. I can't say much about the woman's bathroom. The men's bathroom however was tidy and clean.I recommend to try this place if your craving a typical American Chinese buffet.“

“I was searching for a great Thai place I had eaten at a few months ago. I couldn't remember the name of it, so when the Malacca Cafe came up on Yelp, I stopped by. It was late afternoon between lunch and dinner time so there were not many diners there. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. I ordered the Singapore Mee Fun, a noodle dish with chicken and shrimp. There were plenty of big shrimp and the portions were generous. I took half of it home. The two young people who waited on me were very informative and shared their knowledge of Malaysia. It was a pleasant experience and I plan to go back there.“

“I ordered the beef pho, which was not highlighted on the menu but was exceptionally good. My son ordered the wonton soup, and it was so perfectly earthy that we actually got another set of bowls so we could share each other’s dishes. My fiancé ordered the classic Tom Yum, and “yum” perfectly described it.I still can’t believe how good the food was!The service was great as well, very intimate, and we were checked on often. A few of the servers were on their phones at the front of the house, which is always a negative, but our server wasn’t, so I’m not holding it against her.They also gave us Thai Tea on the house, which was delightful! “My husband and I love this place! Both their food and service is really amazing! We've tried multiple Thai places, and this is the very best. Our favorite is always chicken pad thai, but their curry is also pretty amazing. We came last week and it was closed for break, unfortunately, so we tried a different place that left me a little disappointed ?. What completely won me over at Golden Thai is that I can request no msg, and the cook honors it.“

“This is a gem of a place. There isn’t enough nice things I can say about it. It’s a hole in the wall type of place - not much seating available. The food makes up for it. So even if you can’t have a nice sit down meal when it’s busy, order carry out. You will not be disappointed. I have tried a number of the things on the menu and I am a happy camper. I can’t say there’s anything I don’t like. It’s the first Thai place I found when I moved here from NY. And it remains one of my favorite places. They have quick service now - during COVID, it was rough. I don’t want to say too many nice things because I want to be able to have my mother - son sit down dinner every month just like when I was pregnant with him!“
