The best restaurant to stop in and grab a bite to eat . The chicken fried steak is the best with yellow gravy. The owner is very laid back and real cool. The tea comes in big glasses to quench yout thirst. It has an old western vibe to it
Good breakfast at a great price! Ordered our regular 2 eggs, over easy, hash browns/potatoes, bacon, and toast/tortillas. This menu added refried beans as well (bonus!). They offered toast or tortillas and we opted for tortillas (of course). They served 6 home made–2 more than most other places. The eggs were giant and perfectly cooked. The potatoes were home style. Wow!! A gem in a small Texas Town. Right off Hwy 281 as we traveled from El Paso to south Texas. Old fashioned service! American classic plates like chicken fried steak, and authentic Mexican cuisine with spice combinations that remind me of my childhood. The nicest waitstaff. Chips and salsa come out first.
