Salvadoreños

I was looking for good pupusas and thought I'd give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious pupusas! I took my order to go but it was still hot and fresh after getting home. The service was friendly and the food is priced really well. I tried the revueltas, frijol con queso, queso and pollo. All were so good! I would definitely go back to this place. We were craving some Papusas and our local is closed on Sunday. I decided to venture north to Pupuseria Palacios. I hit pay dirt. I walked out with 5 pork and cheese and 5 been and cheese papusas and two beef fajita tacos. Absolutely stellar. Piping hot and very savory. The pickled cabbage and salsa were perfect accoutrements. It may be hard to go back to our local spot now that I've found them! I'd like to try the tamales next time.

I love pupusas. I'm glad I came across this restaurant. It's definitely a hole-in-the wall but sometimes those are the best. True in this case. There's a bit of a language barrier when I visit, but we work with each other. They've been very friendly, regardless. They even gave me a delicious melon drink.
