Food was okay but way overpriced. Paid $30 for a 6oz steak that doesn’t include any sides. They nickel and dime everything. Will probably never come back.

OK, great location. However the food needs work. All of the BBQ was so so. The brisket was tasty, but very dry. Cocktails OK. And if your going to serve scones, and elote style corn, better get some prickly pear jam or some butter whipped with local honey and serve both of them HOT. The server suggested dipping the scones in the BBQ sauce....um no mam. Was pretty excited for the smoked chichirones, but it was pre-made pork skins, stale to boot and hit with the smoke machine used to make cocktails. Not good. Most folks can get really good BBQ in Texas less than a mile or so from the homestead this is not it. They have Rosewood Wygu beef on the menu and the house Rye whiskey is good. Really hope they step it up a notch, they could be one of the best in Flower Mound if they do!

Nice ambiance inside. Drinks were really good but a little on the costly side. Food was fine not great. Had the brisket and I have had equal to at fast food BBQ places. They do have a nice selection of wagyu steaks which I would recommend trying vs the brisket. If I were to go back that is what I would get.

Want to start off by saying the wait staff were excellent. Very attentative and friendly. Food came out quick with very little wait. The food was good, brisket was a bit dry but good flavor. Mac n cheese and Corn was good, but nothing crazy special. That said, when walking down the Riverwalk it is like the only restaurant without its tables full of families and people. The place is marketed as upscale BBQ, the closest I can think of competition wise would be Marty B's. But the biggest gripe with it is price. The out the door price with tip and no drink for the food in the picture is $36. They need to offer some kind of plate with a 1/2 lbs of meat and two sides in the $19-22 range like their competition. The clientele around the Riverwalk is young adults, families with young children and some retirement aged individuals. None of which will repeatedly pay that much per person for BBQ. And I suspect that's why it's tables were empty even though every single one at Under Dogs and Piehole are full. The happy hour prices for drinks and apps I think are very fair. But BBQ and meal prices need some work.

Y’all knocked it out of the park with this Valentine’s Day dinner!! Holy cow. Brie appetizer was amazing, salad was huge and the entrees, excellent. (Scallops & chicken)Dessert, the chocolate dipped strawberries. We were able to check out your menu and saw so many other items we would like to try. We’ll definitely be back.

The name makes me think of a rustic, wood atmosphere. It's very bright with large windows. This is how poorly designed the Riverwalk restaurants in Flower Mound all are, no real cozy feels. Brisket and turkey sandwiches were very good.

Really excellent, steak is top notch and drinks are creative and all good. We found this place by chance when looking for a restaurant on a Saturday night, and were able to come right and get seated. Atmosphere was low key and quiet, and service was quick and attentive. Highly recommended giving this place a shot.

Met up with some friends for apps and a few pours. The Old Fashioned was on point and neat pours are very reasonably priced. Was a great place for an evening hang with friends. If you haven’t been you should give it a try!

I had the brisket with mash potatoes and a scone. Meat was tasty but dry. Probably shouldn't have asked for lean. It was presented with three sauces. Original barbecue, spicy, and Alabama White. I liked the first two, especially the spicy. Mashed potatoes were good. Decor is really nice, and there is a full bar. Overall good impression, but a bit pricey. Dinner for two with one drink each was over $60.

This place has THE best brisket by a mile. And as someone who grew up with Memphis BBQ, I take that statement seriously. The wait staff are all fantastic, the ambiance is nice, and it’s directly on the Riverwalk, so one can sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather on a nice day.We had Taylor as our server for our party of 5 over the weekend & she was probably one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Seriously. She seems like a genuinely nice person and she was on fire. We came from a soccer game so our son was downing his water & sweet tea pretty quickly. Our son’s glass never ran dry, as before he could even ask for a refill there was another full drink on hand.A silly little tidbit- I was unfolding my napkin and getting my silverware out of the linen and just about to put the large steak knife down on the table, as Taylor swooped in and placed a napkin on the table just underneath the knife. Just a little touch to how “on it” she was. It just felt like everything had been thought of and we were dining at a friend or family’s house instead. And not to mention, the food is delicious! Easily recommend the Brussel sprouts, the brisket by the pound, Mexican corn, and collard greens. Really my only bit of criticism is to please make the sides a bit bigger? Or to fill up the containers as is a bit more, as there wasn’t that much in either of our sides that night. But otherwise, really a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs involved and parking is rather close to the restaurant itself.
