“Ordered pollo endiablado and half a pound of carne asada. Food was very flavorful, tortillas were very fresh and not hard. They give you half an onion with your dish which I love because I usually end up ordering extra grilled onion. But that was more than enough to fill me up! The charro beans were me favorite side. “Before I start off, I would like to say that I absolutely enjoy this chicken. Ive never had an issue at the location until tonight. So my go to spice is medium because it has a nice kick to it, not to spicy but flavorful. Last time I came it tasted really spicy like hot and I didnt say anything because it wasn't a big deal and they were busy. But tonight I came through the drive thru got the same spice level (medium) and went home to eat it. I bite into it and the spice just hits me. So l yes I ate it but I called and asked if the ingredients changed and the lady said no, and I said it tastes really spicy and b4 I finished she replied with "mhm okay bye bye." Please hire people with customer service skills. I wasnt rude but if I was the manger I would like to make things right by maybe checking how they are making it spicy for future orders.“

“I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“

“My discrepancy is not their fault, but about a week after Biden took office, gas prices went up, and this caused the prices of their chicken to go up a lot. Also, all of the great deals they used to have stopped. Fortunately, the quality of the food did not change, and this is what forces me to still buy the food. Maybe one day, when gas prices decrease, the cost of chicken will too. They are not the only ones who did this to their customers. Oh well.“

They also have one of the most complete beverage offerings around. You name it they've got it. There usually aren't any tables, strictly takeout, and the size of the chicken pieces are what I call normal, not like the enormous ones at other chains, but you can't bet the price, taste or quantity at Lisa's. “The combo fried rice and egg rolls are so good! They give you so much, and I usually share it with my kids. Back in the day they also sold hamburger and fry combos, they should bring that back.
