“Was so lucky to be able to enjoy this popular j*** chicken before I left Fort Hood. I lucked out and got the last plate. I must say it was very delicious. My only issues is that it was over cooked. But it was still delicious, just the chicken was a little hard. I would highly recommend. I got the juice drink and it was a little different.”
“The food was good. Not sure the sandwich was worth what I paid for it. But it was delicious. Was a little frustrated how I ordered my sandwich before two others and they got their meal before I did. Overall will say the coffee and sandwich was yummy. If the price for the sandwich was a little more reasonable I would give 5 stars.”
“Best service i've had at a starbucks before. Employees looked happy and were fun to chat with. Made good suggestions and were quick and accurate. Very sweet and lovely place . thanks everyone”
“So many choices! They have samples of almost all their pecans. We had a Rollo latte and pepemint mocha latte. Both were delicious. All the pecns we bought were delicious. Our favorites were the pecan brittle and the roasted buttered and salted. These two things were perfect!!! We bought some coffee too but haven't tried it yet. They had a lot of gift baskets and platters too. The service was great and friendly albeit a little slow. He was the barista and the cashier and had to hand ring everything up. We bought too much stuff it created a line. But this isn't a place to go into if you're in a hurry. Part of the fun is looking around at everything and enjoying being there. If you're in a hurry you can also order their products online. Definitely worth the stop and maybe even a detour!”
“One of a kind experience! Owner is friendly, food is delicious with giant portions, and there is a pet rooster sitting at the bar. What else could you hope for while road tripping through Texas? Give it a try and you won't regret it!”
“If any company deserves a 5 Star rating, it is this one. Friendly, courteous, and expedient. I have been purchasing fresh pecans from Millican Pecan Company for several years. I use them in homemade granola, pecan pies and also I roast them for snacking. Always top quality.”
“Hours of operation are not correct. SATURDAY was posted as open all day. Yet they are closed at 2 pm. So the answers are according to posted hours that we would have taken out our food.Parking: Limited parking space directly In front of restaurant”
“The absolute BEST DONUTS in America!Fresh and hot every morning. Their Sausage egg and cheese croissants are huge and delicious! Definitely a great place to order!5 stars is the highest rating I could give them but I give them a 7 star rating!”
“The Daily Mix is the bomb diggity! Special drinks from coffee to energizing teas to cool shakes made from all natural ingredients. Dee is great to talk to and she plays the coolest music that makes you want to get up and boogie!! Wonderful place to hang out. You can't go wrong with The Daily Mix in San Saba, TX!”
“We stopped here on a whim passing through and we're glad we did. First thing we noticed was how friendly and competent the staff is. Our food was tasty, and served quickly in a great atmosphere. Nothing fancy except the genuinely friendly staff who thanked us twice for coming in. We'll be back.”
“I haven't been to subway in years. This location was a nice surprise! It was clean and the food looked fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. We got EXACTLY what we ordered, even with our special requests. (One of the reasons I quit Subway years ago). I highly recommend this location.”
“We love coming here! We drive about 30 minutes to come eat here. They have great food, and awesome service! The wait staff is great and very friendly. We love coming to have drinks here as well as they have a full bar! Definitely worth coming to.”
“Got a couple of burritos today, chicharron and verde. Both are delicious! And can't beat the price! Definitely recommendVegetarian options: Papas a la mexicana are delicious”
“This place is the best quick stop for a breakfast taco when driving through San Saba. I highly recommend the potatoes, bean and cheese. Add their homemade fresh, hot salsa, and it is perfect. Will definitely stop again!”
“I've been coming to this restaurant since they were located on Martin back in the '80s they moved over on commerce and Smith and they're the only place in San Antonio I know where I can get my tacos at 5:30 in the morning. Family owned great service my favorite Taco is the potato and egg but you can't see the egg delicious. I recommend this place to anybody that loves tacos at 5:30 in the morning nice and fresh.”
“excellent customer service and good food! enjoyed their seasonal sandwich and made myself an arnold palmer to drink. their pecan selection is varied and tasty! treated myself to some pecan oil (fascinating) and some clove honey! have enjoyed lunch here before and will return again.food is good; people working there are kind, patient, and attentive; nice atmosphere; good pecan selection.”
“I was in San Saba for a quick trip to see my Mom at a new care home there and found Brew D Brewhouse. As a craft beer lover when I saw brewhouse... I had to stop in and I'm so glad I did. I had a very yummy couple Of beers and all you can eat catfish dinner. The catfish tasted fresh and clean (not muddy at all) hot fries, crisp coleslaw, and spicy beans completed the meal. It was all so good (maybe a little salty but that's just me. The main event was the beer, I had a blonde that was hazy and so so yummy, then a honey brew beer that was fresh and light and not too sweet. They had the craft brews but also the regular Bud and Bud Light and all the rest that some folks enjoy. The service was fast and efficient, the place was clean, food fresh and hot and the beer was fresh and cold! I will be stopping in again.”
“Amazing atmosphere and helpful staff. Great tasting food.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options and I like that they are willing to modify or substitute some dishes.”
“We went to this nice place on our way to Fredericksburg and ordered a coffee to go. The nice lady at the counter offered us as foreigners free coffees and thanked us for visiting their nice town. This was such a heartwarming gesture which we never experienced before. It's so nice to see people with such overwhelming hospitality and heart. We also liked the atmosphere of the store a lot. They really created a nice spot with eye to detail. Thank you for showing great attitude towards foreigners! We really appreaciated it! Stay the way you are. We don't experience that behavior often. With all the best wishes from Berlin, Germany.”
“Comida pura Mejicana ,como estar en México, Gente humilde y muy amable ,precios módicosParking: Parking on the front restaurant is open be site to gas stations”
“Wonderful home style cafe with delicious food and very friendly staff. Our waitress, Jennifer, was delightful! We had a yummy breakfast for our party of seven. Even the vegetarian folks in our group were able to find yummy food options. Fast, attentive service, and great prices. Worth a visit! ?”
“Amazing place! Everyone is so friendly. The food was so good, the service was incredible, and the ambiance was so nice. We were in town to go hiking and this was the perfect way to wrap up a long day. The bar is so cute and both of the bar tenders were so nice! Special shout out to our waitress Bailey, and Maddie who literally saved our vacation (she also works at the hotel, girl does it all).”
“This place is off the main road .Gave em 4 for the workers. Gave em a 2 because it was a waste of money and time. Nothing to write home about. As a matter of fact, just wait until you get home and barbeque yourself. Ribs were flavorless. Didnt have even a hint of barbque aroma.Potatoe salad creamy and tasteless. Beans ok but use yr salt n pepper . You know that good ole barbeque smell at these kind of places ? Not one here at all. Maybe they bbq at home then brought it over. This place is very basic which would be ok if the food was any kind of good. The waitress and Raul were super sweet and very very good. But yet and still, save your money and ease on down the road. Oh yeah, they have a byob sign on the outside . They're right next to a convenience store if you're needing gas.”
“Coming in to the restaurant, everyone was on their cell phone. However, they gave us a few seconds to figure out what we wanted (we already knew why we were there! ?). The lady whose name I did not get was extremely polite and cordial. We ordered four blizzards, one sundae, and helped one of our group of six get all of the finished products to the table, which occurred actually very rapidly (I had barely time to use the restroom). The Brookie Blizzard was good, and no one else had complaints although we had just come off of a 5 mi hike at Colorado Bend State Park and were in need of refreshment which DQ provided. Four stars because the cleanliness of the restaurant was a little bit lacking: our table was dirty as was the booth seat. Others have mentioned the drive-thru which is more of a pull-up order window.....just go inside and get some steps in!!”
“This is a great little drive in. We ordered at the picnic tables, about ten items in total for $30. They got it out to us very fast and we had a great overall experience!Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces all around the restaurant, you can order from your car at a little screen and speaker.”
“Workers keep the place clean; no waiting for tables, trash levels maintained, napkins stocked, floors cleaned. Things we dont think about until it's not done. Lots of selection for food types plus SBX and Chipotle on other end of PX”
