This was our 2nd business meeting at Cast Iron for breakfast. Amber and her team are very welcoming and attentive. This was absolutely a wonderful place and everything from the service to the food was exemplary. Thank you everyone at Cast Iron!

Our server (I believe her name was Randy) was spectacular. She accommodated our special request for an off menu item, recommend a wine we really enjoyed and helped us choose the perfect dessert. She was lovely and we really enjoyed our evening. She offered outstanding customer service by being very professional while offering a sweet, personal touch.

We stayed at the Omni to celebrate our anniversary and ate here for dinner and twice for breakfast. In addition, the menu is similar to the Whiskey and Rye bar and we had a couple of things there as well. It was all delicious. The service was great. Sitting near the fireplace was a nice touch.

On February 10, my partner and I dined at the Cast Iron restaurant within the fabulous Omni Hotel, downtown Fort Worth. From the Valentine's Day Menu, we ordered the Lobster Tail with Cheese Grits and Sautéed Spinach and then, we split The Drunken Bread Pudding served with vanilla ice cream. The presentation of the food was artistic and absolutely divine. The restaurant was elegant yet cozy and the service we received was exceptional!

Sat by fireplace on a cold night and waitress helped us.Bread brought to the table smelled bad and tasted worse. Both orders were wrong by kitchen staff and corrected by waitresses. I was sick the rest of the night.

Good food, slower service than usual...the adult beverages were not good. I think this can change by having a better knowledge of drinks. Margarita: Good Paloma: not good at all Ranch Water: not good at all Old fashioned: okay

There was no host when another guest and I were coming in, nor was there a “seat yourself” sign. What was one to do? I took a table and was “greeted” after around five minutes by a server. It was more like shoving a menu in my face—and he left all 4 place settings cluttering the table despite it being just me alone. The “best damn breakfast sandwich,” as it might have been called, was nothing but a plain burger bun with unnecessary clumps of measly caramelized onions, cheese, and bacon with the meat and eggs that fell apart. Worst breakfast sandwich of my life, and I've had dozens in several states and countries. I did ask Jose C for specific items and recommendations in the menu, as far as what the restaurant was most known for, and he replied that they were all the same, nothing special about any of them. Seemed like he'd rather have been anywhere else.

Christmas Brunch: $100 per person including service charge is worth it if you savor the very high quality food and unlimited Champagne (Cava) Bar. The decor is a little dated, but overall this was an excellent holiday brunch with a full sushi station; pasta bar; three carving stations; omelette station & all the usual breakfast staples; complimentary Bailey's martinis; beautiful Champagne station with several fruit & berry options; cheese & charcuterie, including a fantastic beef carpaccio; salad station; lobster bisque station a nice touch; decorate your own cookies; and massive dessert selection. The staff was so nice and actually seemed happy to be there! Very well managed...not overbooked so there was never a wait for anything.

Christmas Day Brunch was OUTSTANDING! The service was exemplary, the live harpist played beautifully, the variety of food offered was amazing. I would recommend this meal and venue without reservation.

This is how my family now celebrates Christmas. My 90 year old mother loves the Brunch and music. We hsve been going for more years than I can remmeber. Its always very good. I would mention the waiters this year were not attentive except to buss dishes. It was difficult getting coffee or iced tea and we asked whether they had any we were met with little enthuisaism. The managers or maybe hotel staff that was signing in and taking us to tables were very friendly amd seemed to enjoy putting on the whole event. This yesr valet even left us a gift of homemade eggnog and carott cake muffin left.in out car. There was a notes saying it was a thank you. Very unexpected and appreciated. The added 25% gratuity was pushing it a bit. But atleast they didnt hide it like some establishments. I probably would have tipped atleast that ammount for Christmas, but still seams innappropriate whrn the bill is already 100.00 per person. At the very least get the bussers/waiters to be more attentive and friendly. It really stands out when one area of hospitality is so far below the rest of the staff.

I went to the Thanksgiving Brunch a few years ago and had an equally wonderful experience. This Christmas Brunch was outstanding! Staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious and beautifully presented, decor was also beautifully done. We really enjoyed the wonderful harp player as well.

We will be definitely be back for Easter Brunch. The selection and quality of food was outstanding. There is something for everyone in a very relaxing environment. Excellent Christmas celebration.

This Christmas brunch loses a little more class each year. Food is okay to good, ambience is great but the service is beneath what one would expect at this hotel. What stands out to me is while escorting our party into the ballroom we had an abrupt stop at a line of cashiers frantically charging customers *before the meal - and adding on a required 18% tip. I believe average service expected at $80 tip for our table would include clearing dishes timely, refilling water at least once during the 1 hour meal, asking if we'd like a mimosa or cup of coffee - these were *fails this year. Initially, I experienced a separation of my party when we first arrived due to an army of children in one party blocking me and my aunt - and the hostess never came back for us. I ended up going into the ballroom myself and searching for my party. I also experienced a backed up omelet station directly adjacent to an empty pasta station (that looked exactly the same). When I made it through the 12 minute omelet line my order was burned (bacon and cheese omelet) and I had to wait again. This $400 meal was disappointing.
