Don't get me wrong, the food is great, the service is awesome.....but!....I was doing my regular rounds on the area, and I saw how they made the food delivery!! That was disgusting and unhealthy...

Good wasn’t worth finishing nor taking home. Beer was flat. What started off great ended up better at home.

Verry poor quality food. Canned chicken used for enchiladas. Tasted horrible.

Incredible! Phenomenal! Can’t say enough great things about this place! The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is overly friendly and helpful. Dale, their cook of 30 years, came out and met us. Everything was super clean. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! We will definitely be back and we live in Lubbock, 5 hours away! Thank you to the entire staff (especially Blanca and Dale) for the hospitality!

I ordered the tex mex burrito, it tasted like I was having a nightmare from my middle school cafeteria. Very processed, salty, canned ingredients.Service was cool tho ?Reply: it was my lunch break, and I hadn't eaten anything. I was also in no position to wait for my meal to be remade. Happy to shed some light on that mystery :) But fair is fair, I should have bragged about how the food was edible lol

This is an old location, so not fancy, but it's well maintained and comfortable.I had an enchilada plate, one each beef, cheese, chicken. All the enchiladas were not very good. The tortilla was tough and not much stuffing. The sauces were bland. The rice and beans were tasteless. The rice was dry.The server was good, efficient and friendly.

El Chico Cafe is my favorite spot for Tex-Mex! The fajitas are always sizzling and flavorful and the chips and salsa are addictive. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff make it a go-to for a tasty experience.

I have loved this restaurant over 20 years, it's always consistent for great TEX-MEX. Service could be some better, but the food makes up for it !

No one on here is going to talk about the horrendous sewer smell when you walk in the door?!? It makes the food and drinks taste like sewer. It is so gross. I couldn't and wouldn't even eat. Fix this! Second time I have been since October and it smells like feces and is disgusting. Clean this place and fix the pipes!
