4/23/24. Found out today that they pre-cook their fajitas at about 11 and 5. Makes no sense. Cook them fresh when ordered. Doesn't take that long and they're better. That said, if you want fresh fajitas, go for an early lunch or dinner. We both also ended up with intestinal distress after eating there. Avoid.Sadly, the restaurant is in decline. They're closing at 5:00 on a Sundays now because they can't get staffing. They were out of a lot of things supposedly because they closed for a week and someone forgot to order. The railing at the front of the restaurant is covered with dust as is the decorative shelving next to the restroom hallway. A dirty restaurant is always a sign of a place that's going to close soon. Clean up your act!

My favorite Mexican restaurant wasn’t open so my brother and his kids and myself went down the road from there to El Paseo thinking it would be as good as our place but I am sorely mistaken. The chips come out hot (great) but cakes in some special seasoning that makes it difficult to enjoy them with salsa and when you get your plate ( if it comes with beans and rice) that too is caked in that special (I think taco) seasoning.. the fajita chicken and shrimp were also cooked and then caked it it as well making it difficult to enjoy the meat.. the chicken was dry and both my brother and niece got a piece of bone.. this place looked great from the outside but inside the food is deceiving.

El Paseo Mexican Restaurant in Fort Worth is now one of my favorite spots for delicious Mexican cuisine. The menu offers a wide range of options, from traditional dishes to creative specialties. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food you receive.

THEY DO NOT LIKE BLACKS AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!! I had a horrible experience with the waitstaff at this restaurant. I parked in the “to go” spot at this establishment. A young lady answered and took my order for a bag of tortilla chips. I explained to her that I had physical issues and wasn’t able to negotiate the ramp to go inside. She AGREED to bring my food outside. Simple right? I sat in this same spot, watching individuals go in and out for over 40 minutes. I finally called and asked what the issue was. I was then told by this same young lady, “I came out with the chips and I didn’t see your car. The “to go” parking spot is LITERALLY right in front of the door. THIS WAS A FLAT OUT LIE! I was quite disturbed, as I felt she was giving me a song and dance. The posted hours are until 9 pm. Our conversation was @8:45pm. She gave me another story and said, “Let me check with my manager”, placing me on hold once again. After a few minutes someone picked up the phone and hung it up. Once again, I called back. She then answered and said that it was “too late”, and that “We really don’t do that anyway”, mind you, after she AGREED t bring the food to my vehicle. This was a disgusting way to run off a customer. Word to the wise: As we know, it’s 2024, and Azle is still a VERY prejudiced area in Fort Worth, so IF YOU ARE BLACK OR HANDICAP, DO NOT EAT HERE! You will be treated like a second class citizen, trust me! I can’t imagine spending money at this “ ever. Good luck if you’re Black!

margaritas are great! But we eat there about 2 or 3 times a month. This time meat in the enchilada was whods of fat chunks and if it's cheese in the Tomales it would not melt even even when we brought it home and microwave it. Husband got diarrhea and sick later in the night. Something was different this time eating there!

I love this place, have lived it for years. My only complaint is that they stopped Shredding the chicken for the quesadillas.
