Highly disappointed in our visit today. Hardly baby cookie selection and out of cones! Store wasn't clean, bathrooms were horrible. The signage with pricing wasn't working. Would have much rather gone to Braum's and spent less money.

Marble Slab has been around so long I find it difficult to review. My first experience with this new concept in ice cream (originally from Houston) was in the 80s in Lincoln Square in Arlington. It was so different from Carvel and Baskin Robbins, ice cream mixed live on a frosty stone, dipped cones, a fresh experience of a food experience so Americana that Norman Rockwell painted it. That was 35 years ago, and I'm sad to say Marble Slab, while still delivering the same delicious product, has not updated itself much. The small is $6, and it's plenty. But, a $6 ice cream still seems like a lot. Sizes are small, medium, and "best value" (most obvious marketing ploy ever?). A large cake is $35. And they sell Great American Cookie Co. cookies in the case. If the store was cleaner, or the decor updated, I think I might have scored a four. But there's just not a lot of love in this concept anymore. Doesn't keep us from coming here a couple times a year. But, every time I'm here I wish they'd give it a polish.

I’m beyond thankful for the decorator who was able to accommodate my last minute request! I don’t recommend procrastination, but they hands down delivered 100% and made my twins soo happy! Thank you and I definitely recommend this location for all your cookie/cake needs!

I just left Marble Slab and I couldn't be more impressed by the efficiency and customer service. Everyone was very friendly and we will be coming back.

Wow just came in this shop and it seems to be under new management. Super clean and new very friendly faces. Love the atmosphere and they also helped me out with a last min cookie cake! I love it!! Will definitely come back again!

On Saturday Aug 14 when we arrived at the store at 9:45 PM the "OPEN" sign was turned off, but hours listed on the door stated the store closes at 10:00 PM on Saturday. When we walked in the door the music that was being played was inappropriate. Every other word was the "f" word and then next song was not any better. There were 4-5 staff members working, but there was only 3 working the line. There were 8 people in line. One of the girls had a mask on, but it was worn under her chin. If she is supposed to be wearing the mask, she needs some education on how to properly wear it! At 1000 pm the store closes, but there are still 7 customers eating/finishing their ice cream and one of the staff members decided to turn all the lights off in the store. My husband said" We are still in here" and the lights were turned back on. Then one of the girls kept playing on her phone with gloves on. Then she proceeded to go outside (with same gloves on) walking through the store playing on her phone and the same when she walked back into the store. She never took off the gloves and washed her hands. Then about 1005 (staff cleaning facility) turned off the lights again and one of the girls said "y'all aren't scared of the dark" laughing and walked back behind the counter. The floor was wet and when the staff was informed, they said that the knew about it and have not had the time to take care of it. They were "slammed" prior to us coming in. There was no wet sign put out for the safety of the customers walking thought the line. One of the ladies in another party did not even finish her ice cream in the store after the staff turned off the lights yet again. The service and choice of music was horrible. We will not be returning to this location. Andy's or Cold Stone Creamery will be getting mine and my family's business from now on.

Tastes like cheap store bought ice cream and the shakes at best were on par with McDonald's flurries. At least my toddlers ate what the adults wouldn't.

They canceled the order last minute.ruined a dinner surprise. Ordered via Grubhub. Fist time ordering will never order again

Great place to get cookies (especially if you don't want to fight mall crowds for one!) and cookies are fresh! Two minor issues, the counter at the check out wasn't clean and having to sign for a debit card without a stylus is a little disgusting for a finger food place, even with the provided sanitizer. Overall, still definitely a great to get dessert!
Not so great customer service. Would not recommend! Manager also seemed to be bothered and annoyed when asking her questions about pricing and order status..

The two young men working on Mother’s Day were great. The young lady working was very rude I came in that afternoon/evening to enjoy my day with my children and she started attending me than she walked off in the back and decided not to assist me anymore because she wasn’t happy that I wanted ice cream as well not just cookies. I come here often but never received bad service like today. Really discouraged me to come back to this location.

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but this establishment has poor customer service. I ordered my ice cream cake within the 48 hours needed. My family member went to pick it up for me, showed up early for it and it wasn't ready. Ok, not a problem if that's how it was said, but she got told the order says a specific time for pick up and that's when we will give it to you. She waiting and by the time it was supposed to be ready she gets told the icing is runny and they aren't sure why. So she can just take it as is or pick one that's ready to go. Mind you I ordered the cake because I needed a LARGE which they didnt even make the correct size. Well the manager could care less what the outcome was and didn't try to help find a solution. If my son wasn't so set on an ice cream for his birthday, I would have just taken my business else where so I just made my sister get the runny cake. Don't waste your time pre-ordering cakes here.

Whoever the lady running the place is is quite bitter. Out of all kinds of chocolate Ice cream and she complained to me how the customers were upset. She complained about my mix in choices as well. Bad enough I don't think I've ever been to an ice cream place who's out of chocolate, but to be mean to customers who want it is out of this world...spend your money at any other place.
