Sad the fries are now freezer crinkle fries. No longer worth the $$$. Go elsewhere for now.

Very Over hyped. My husband and I went with my mom and sister,We were all told it was a must try, well we tried it. It was okay. Maybe we didn’t get to try the best but from we had we thought was decent.Luckily we walked straight in and there was no line, we came in around 5pm. We were told there was not any more Macroni so we didn’t get to try that, which was upsetting since that’s what we were told we had to try.The cashier was nice and everyone else was nice but didn’t make sense that there were multiple ppl standing behind her just watching the line grow. We sat outside but didn’t realize once the line would grow it would be hard to go back in to grab our food without getting looks… so I recommend if you can sit inside just incase a rush comes in.Food itself … the Bbq sauce has more of a savory bitter taste. I personally like sweet sauce so maybe you’ll like it better.I got the potato skins, so just incase you don’t know it is literally just fried skin of the potato, no potato at all… which caught me by surprise, they really are good at shaving a potato that’s for sure. I use the coleslaw as a sauce option since I didn’t like their sauce, which I did like the coleslaw. (Just not by itself) the meat on potatoes skins was Brisket was okay nothing rave worthy.Only thing that was good was their Sausage which I liked a lot and I usually don’t like sausage.Banana pudding was decent too, not too sweet. My mom and sister got Brisket sandwiches which they got, they said they would have rather went to Dickies…So we went there it’s definitely college crowd and it has a bar so it’s probably a cool place to go hang with friends but not something that is a must try. For sure there is plenty of other places to go to for BBQ that is a must try, and this is not one of them.

Very good brisket, ribs, burnt end. Their sauce was below average, but the food does not need it.

Frankly, I bet disappointed. After being a connoisseur all my life and knowing a thing or two about barbecue, I was disappointed and the overall quality of the experience and food. It just didn't taste like there was a lot of care in the preparation. I'll try to get in the future but not as my first choice.

Been coming here since 2018 when visiting Fort Worth. Sadly, today will be our last. Previously, brisket was always juicy and flavorful, today, dry and bland. Fries always freshly cut, today frozen. Asked staff about changes, they explained that the restaurant has new owners. What a shame.

Rough as cowboys. Less vegetables. Recommend Bacon Burnt Ends $7.5 (1/4 lb) at Heim Barbecue; did not have chance to try the famous Brisket Plate which was out that day.Parking: Parking in the back, accessible from S Henderson St.

Maybe the best barbecue I've ever had, and that's saying something. I'm from NC and we have it pretty good. Just wow!

Him bbq is a must have every time I come here. The most popular being the bacon burnt ends. The meat is so well prepared and the staff is really friendly!

Busy on a Saturday afternoon. Line to get to the counter, but the food was worth it. Limited parking.

Our first time here! We were a group of three. We ordered the three meat plate with brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. We also chose fhe Mac and cheese and potato salad as our sides. We added the pinto beans, side salad, and small potato skins to share. The turkey was the favorite out of the meats. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese the best but the other two people preferred the beans. The potato skins were not what I imagined (they were like nachos made out of potato skins) but the table agreed they were very good. The other people think they would have been better without the queso. I'm not sure.We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday. There was no line and it was quick to order. The cashier was happy to answer questions. The food arrived quickly.Pretty much immediately after we picked up our food a long line developed. It just kept getting longer and longer.
