Awesome oysters, pricey though. The catfish filets were huge and cooked perfect. Potato fries were excellent. The only serve bottle beer now, so no frosty mugs. ? It was plenty cold though. Small restaurant so it can become crowded. However there is a really nice patio when the weather allows. ? Been a favorite of mine for two decade's.

I specifically called before coming to see if they put crawfish boil in when boiling their crawfish. They said that they did, but that definitely was not true. Probably the blandest crawfish I've ever eaten. The alligator bites and onion fries weren't bad.

Our waitress was awesome service with a smile. We called ahead and we're assured.Third, coffee was boiled with spices and they weren't.They were sprinkled on top.After being cooked And we're very tiny.The gator tale was pretty good as well. Pretty excessive for the amount of food we received.

Craving oysters and a Mexican shrimp cocktail, I convinced hubby to go try out J&J for a quick midweek dinner. Service was excellent, especially considering that the waitress was the only one serving every single table in the joint.Our oysters were fresh and the Shrimp cocktail was just how I like it.

Fun place! Don't shy away if you don't eat oysters or even seafood. They have burgers, an excellent grilled chicken dinner with rice and sautéed zucchini. My daughter ate everything on her plate, and she NEVER does that! My husband and I split the grilled catfish tacos, and they were excellent. Service was excellent and the little patio was comfortable even on an evening in February. Might be good if the heaters weren't such bright lights, but that is my only complaint. Would highly recommend!

RACIST OWNERS/ STAFFAs someone raised on the border with access to fresh seafood I was excited to try this almost 5 star seafood restaurant.Upon my very short dine in, I witnessed a disgusting display of racism in the form of a very nonchalant casual conversation in front of guests (i.e me a MEXICAN)The owner came in with some decorations for an upcoming event and was excitedly discussing with the staff about how it looked. She went on about how she might've gone with piñatas as her husband suggested but didn't want her establishment to look like a "DIRTY CHEAP MEXICAN RESTAURANT".To each their own, but maybe keep those comments behind closed doors.Very disappointedUPDATE: THEY CALL THEIR GUESTS LIARS, TOO.

Hole in the wall local spot with good seafood. I had the talapia with rice and veggies. It was good with nice flavor and generous portions. The rice was somewhat bland. Service was attentive and friendly.
