Food was actually good. Way too expensive. Especially for the terrible service. They said it would be an hour wait just to make us go to the bar and pay for overpriced drinks. They put us at a weird table(overflow I guess). The waitress took 8 orders at our table. She messed up 6 orders. They need younger people working there and management needs to be more involved especially when there is a language barrier. We spent more here than at Benihana. That totally defeats the purpose of going to a non chain Hibachi place.Charged us $2 per shrimp due to a mistake by the waitress. That has nothing to do with cost going up.

My husband and I went there the day after Valentine because we knew it would be less crowded. We've been going there for 20 years, but only on special occasions. It has been a while but was as I remembered. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and eclectic . Greeted with smiles, only waiting 15 minutes for a table. The chef was fun and entertaining and food was AMAZING. We ordered an appetizer and the Emperors Special. It's a LOT of food. I take off one star, because I like to eat slowly and enjoy the food, but after chef makes his exit, I felt rushed to finish and hurried to leave. Would have preferred to sit and finish my meal, and enjoy the atmosphere. All in all a nice place. Highly recommend.

Food is way overpriced for what it is. Benihana is 10 times better for less money. It’s an old, outdated restaurant with mediocre food. Also, their salad dressing is only okay and they don’t have the typical hot mustard sauce other hibachi places have. Also their ginger sauce was very tangy.

Been Going here for the last 5-6 years for birthdays. They were great at first, but the last two years have been horrible. Tonight, i had to wait over an hour due to "short staff." Hostess was very rude and would not give estimated wait times. Not to mention they kept on seating people who came in after us. Once we were finally sat, the waitress came over as soon as we sat and immediately took our orders, the chef was not friendly, nor did he know what he was doing. He forgot my mother's filet and had the waitress grab it for him. food was absolutely disgusting. everything was overcooked including the eggplant. the shrimp was extremely chewy and unseasoned. the rice has a different taste to it as well. The only good dish was the filet mignon, chicken. I hate writing a bad review on this place, since it has been a favorite of mine for birthdays. But after tonight, i will not be returning.

Then to have the waitress stand over me and proceed to ask me if I have enough cash. After I handed her the bill plus OVER 20% tip. Being a young cpl and judged off the jump. Will not be returning.

Second visit was just as good as first visit. Arrived and was told there was up to a one-hour wait, and was seated after about 45 minutes. Plenty of comfortable space to wait, though, and can get a drink at the bar while waiting. Service was really good, and the table chef was entertaining and skilled. Ordered some sushi as an appetizer along with the hibachi. The sushi is so good, may come back just for sushi another time. Hibachi entree (filet mignon and chicken) was cooked perfectly, and went along well with the large servings of vegetables and fried rice.

I am confused to how this place could get a 4.1 on Google, especially with the food and pricing. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and not too overwhelming. The service was ok. Dirty dishes were cleared away promptly and I had one refill. The Hibachi entertainment experience wasn't as exciting as I hoped it would be. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The fried rice was probably the tastiest besides the gyoza and sashimi sampler I ordered. The meats and veggies could have been seasoned more/better than just salt, pepper, and soy sauce. I only could just taste the salt and the soy sauce. The Hibachi chef was very polite and friendly, but the show itself was basic. I left pretty unsatisfied with a pricy bill to boot, not to mention the customer is made to pay surcharge if you use a card. It would have been nice to know or be informed prior to paying. I definitely have had better hibachi experiences like the Ichiban of Waco and will probably not visit here again.
