The staff was rude. Having never been there I watched to see how they did things and was ignored but daughter had been to one before.The decor looks like a thrift store in a low income neighborhood. The chairs we sat in were very loose at the joints and wobbly.The "egg chef" needs to go back to school. I asked if they did poached eggs and was told they had no idea what that was so I ordered my eggs over medium, got over hard. Bacon burnt, potato thing was hard and cold. We asked for jam for the dry bread and were told we needed to buy a jar. If you expect us to buy it, why not give us a sample to try first?For the price we paid I expect much better quality across the board. Waffle house would have been better across the board. Maybe that is why they were packed and LaMadeline was empty.

La Madeleine has been a long time staple for my family. I ordered just a bowl of soup which was good as usual. Tea….of 3 containers. 1 completely empty…1 with 1/2 glass. So no one refill.So disappointing to see no tables bussed during the 45 min. I was there. When I left…probably 8 tables stacked with dirty dishes. I made a stop in the ladies room as I headed out. It was so smelly with water and trash on the floor I opted not to use the restroom.Times are tough everywhere. I hate to see our favorite places so significantly impacted.

This place has lost a step in quality over the years, but the croissants are still awesome. French toast coffee is strong and smooth. The container for strawberry Romanov sauce container seems to have gotten smaller. Sad face. Guess they saved some cost per serving, but I think they are losing more with less orders. It's sooo yummy even if too small a serving.
I ordered crème brule for pick up and they forgot to torch it so it was just pudding , unfortunately I didn’t realize until I got home and it wasn’t what I wanted nor I was expected ..

LaMadeline boasts a truly stunning location, perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. While the service was friendly, there were some hiccups: our americanos arrived 30 minutes after our food. The food itself was decent, but the country soup could have been hotter and the quiche had room for improvement in terms of temperature and seasoning. Additionally, the condition of the tables was concerning, with many being scratched and wobbly, making it a bit nerve-wracking to have hot drinks on them. If LaMadeline addresses these issues, particularly the service wait times and table maintenance, I would be more inclined to return for another try.My recommendation: Areas of improvement1. Must hire at least 4-6 Waitresses2. Maintenance3. Management4. KitchenParking: Plenary of space. One early. Before 0900
